Mitsubishi Electric’s New R32 MS-HN Gears Up for a Greener Tomorrow
The
weather is scorching hot nowadays so having air conditioner at home is a necessity

glad that recently Mitsubishi Electric Group introduced their new R32 refrigerant
MS-HN series room air condition that
gears up for a greener tomorrow.

The New
R32 MS-HN series were launched by Hiroaki Ashizawa San, Managing Director of
Mitsubishi Electric Sales Malaysia Sdn Bhd (MESM) and management team at Hilton
Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Hiroaki Ashizawa San said that the MS-HN series further
enhances the Mitsubishi Electric DNA – Shoki Hoko, which means their Corporate
Responsibility to society.

What us R32 Refrigerant? R32 is mildly
flammable and has similar performance and operating conditions to R410A. It has
a lower global warming potential (GWP) than the commonly used HFCs.
Characteristics. R32 is difluoromethane (methylene fluoride) and it is an HFC
type refrigerant.

The
decision by air conditioner manufacturers to transition to a new refrigerant is
driven by many factors such as impact on the environment, energy efficiency,
safety and cost effectiveness. In many countries, HCFC 22 is still the dominant
refrigerant. HCFC 22 is an ozone depleting substance and is being phased out in
many countries as a result of the Montreal Protocol.
In
countries where HCFC 22 has already been phased out, the driving factor to
transition to a new refrigerant is the desire to reduce the use of high Global
Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerants. Prior to the release in Malaysia, the R32
system has already been introduced in Japan, Australia, China, India, Thailand,
Vietnam and other countries.

The Room
Air Conditioner which is under R32 Model comes with blue fin condenser or
compressor. Anti-corrosion treatment has been applied to the heat exchanger of
the outdoor unit. And the compressor is quiet.

new R32 system comes with Easy Ownership Program (E.O.P) which guarantees and
