Korean Lifestyle Roadshow 2017 Best Hallyu Moments
Annyeonghaseyo! the ‘Hallyu’ force is
strong here, this weekend we got to feel and experience all things Korea at Korean Lifestyle Roadshow 2017 in Berjaya Times
Square, Kuala Lumpur. It was the 3rd edition of the roadshow especially
for “Hallyu” fans ranging from K-Beauty, K-Culture K-Food, K-Lifestyle and many
more.

By the
way, Hallyu is the Korean term for the phenomenon of the Korean Wave or Hanryu or
more commonly refer s Hallyu. The term is made of two root words; han means
Korean, while liu or ryu means flow or wave, referring to the diffusion of
Korean culture.

Korean
Lifestyle Roadshow 2017 was organized by CNE Global Sdn Bhd and the roadshow
was held at the ground floor of the main entrance of Berjaya Time Square from
22nd to 23rd April, 2017. The location was very strategic
and convenient for us to get there and also during the roadshow there were many
new things and brand to discover. It was an event to embrace the appreciation
towards Koreans unique culture and trendy products.

Wootz! got
our goodies when we registered at the counter and we also stand a chance to be
one of the lucky draw winners. During the roadshow many goodies were give out
such as beauty products, healthy snacks and also prizes for their contests and
lucky draw by Tony Moly, Karmart, Preto Acai, KIODA, and Miseoul.

There
were variety of new products to explore and new brands such as color cosmetics,
functional skin care, lifestyle, healthy food and beverages as well as yummy
snacks. The delightful array of activities at the roadshow such as:

While waiting for the K-Pop cover dance to start by Genesis, the champion for Dream Stage Dance competition in Singapore and Universal Music Malaysia K-Pop Crazy Party. We went around to check out the new Korean skincare such Rappol Cosmetics, Maricle skincare, Marinecos, Fascy the cute and stylish cosmetics and pouches.

After
the K-Pop cover dance performance we continue to enjoy some of the snacks and
drinks sampling. I tried the acai berry tea and also their organic vegetable
juices.

Ahhh…
anyone love Korean snacks and tidbits? I am sure many of you love pepero,
seaweed, banana milk and etc. I bought some snacks home too.

Last but
not least, it’s my turn to try on Korean Hanbok and take photos. Not only they
have hanbok for adults for children too and it’s so cute. I always fascinated by how feminine one can be when wearing Korean Hanbok. Plus there is a booth
where we get to learn how to write our name in Korean calligraphy.

Overall we
had fun and great time experiencing Hallyu moments at Korean Lifestyle Roadshow
2017. Hopefully there will be more such events coming up for Malaysians to
experience Korean culture, art, food, beauty products and lifestyle.

ReplyDeleteMy Korean friend in Ipoh has plans to host an event like this on a permanent basis. I am still waiting for it and an opportunity to don a hanbok!

ReplyDeleteI always enjoy Hallyu festivals here in Manila in hosted by the Koream Embassy and private supporters. They know exactly what their fans truly love, and always ended me broke, coz I shopped a lot.
