The Main Place to Celebrate The Joy Of Reunion
Wootz!
we were at Main Place to Celebrate The Joy of Reunion. I kind of like this Main Place Mall, one of the up and coming neighbourhood
malls in USJ because they have quite a variety of retail outlets and exciting
events to welcome Chinese New Year 2017.

Place to Celebrate The Joy Of Reunion
|
Aptly
themed “The Joy of Reunion,” Main Place has organized several special
activities for mall-goers in celebrating Chinese New Year. That day, we had lou sang and scrumptious reunion lunch at Sushi Zanmai located on the level 2 of Main Place
Mall with some bloggers and friends. It’s was casual get together, catch-up and makan-makan.

If you
are around USJ area do drop by the mall because you stand a chance to win
goodie bags and shopping vouchers by participating in the “Count the Golden
Eggs” activity, a highlight of this year’s programme.
Lets Count the Golden Eggs and win RM280... wah i also want to win! |
This is
a simple activity, all you need to do is to count the eggs at the concourse
area, where golden eggs will be placed around the giant rooster decorations and
baskets. This game was chosen because golden eggs, in Chinese culture symbolise
luck, attraction and fertility. I already counted and submitted mine, so finger
crossed I hope I can win the goodie bags or shopping vouchers too.

This
month The Main Place Mall is full of activities , all your visits on every
weekend of the month will be accompanied by the sound of thunderous drums
rolling and animated acrobatic performances that will awaken the fire rooster
in you and bring to life Chinese New Year vibes.
To spice
up your visits even more, Main Place offers other activities such as dough
dollmaking workshop and mask painting to let visitors experience something new.
These activities are great opportunities for families with children to enjoy
Chinese New Year celebrations while learning something about traditional
Chinese culture.

For
those who believe that it is our roots that make us who we are, Main Place’s
mini contest will excite and challenge you. Partake in the “Chopstick and
Beans” game where the participants test their capabilities in holding the beans
using nothing but chopsticks. The fastest to finish wins the game and stands a
chance to win attractive prizes.
Chinese
New Year is not complete without the presence of the God of Prosperity walking around
to share some good luck for us to keep for the year. Visitors can also expect a
celestial lion dance, accompanied by drum performances and acrobatic shows to
fire up the year of the rooster. Let the beat rev up your passion to last you
