Fitness & Fun That ‘70s Run By Symphony Life @ Taman Tasik Prima, Puchong
Last
weekend we danced and done the That 70s Run by Symphony Life @ Taman Tasik
Prima, Puchong. Still remember last November 2016 we did inform you about the That 70s Run and last Saturday we were at the run.en you have theme run like this, many sporting participants
would dressed up in their 70s themed look, took part in the 5.8KM run. It was
a short and fun run with total of 1,035 fitness enthusiasts. Imagine the movie Saturday
Night Fever by John Travolta; that’s the kind of 70s dance, music and outfit.

We
spotted many participants came with their family and friends. It’s more fun to
run together in group than alone. Plus event like this aimed to bring families
and friends together to promote a healthier lifestyle among Malaysians. That 70s Run was flagged of by Tan Sri Azman Yahya, Executive Chairman of Symphony
Life Berhad at 7.30am.
We grooved to the disco tunes of the 70s at two checkpoints before claiming their retro-designed medals at the finish line. After the run the event is not over yet. We got out breakfast pack and also get to sampled various types of food at the mini fest, there are the stalls and food trucks selling food and drinks.
Over 10
food trucks and vendors were present to serve the participants and the general
public. Free health checks were also provided by Lincoln University College. The checks included diabetes, BMI (Obesity checks), and blood pressure checks.
Arthritis Foundation Malaysia (AFM) also supported the event and an exhibition
to raise awareness about arthritis.
There were many entertaining activities after the run |
Besides
that, many entertaining activities such as blowing giant bubbles, street clown
performance, inflatable playground, face painting, colouring workshop, and
photo booths to pose at were also available for the whole family to enjoy.
There
were many lucky draws, mini games, contest and also best-dressed competitions
for the participants to win awesome prizes worth of up to RM10,000 were up for
grabs. The grand prizes included a TV, bicycles, smartphone, tablet, and more.

Symphony
Life Berhad has a good presence in the Taman Tasik Prima area and will continue
to enhance the township with a variety of modern developments. A good example
is our premium, low density Elevia Residence.
This development coupled with an
upcoming lakefront mall, will add plenty of vibrancy to the neighbourhood. An
added advantage is the new interchange to Taman Tasik Prima that has made
travelling to this part of Puchong quite a breeze.
