Spring (January to March)
The Northern Vietman can be cold, damp and rainy in the early
months of the year but snow can occur in mountainous provinces such as Sa Pa,
Ha Giang. Besides, temperatures range from 20°C to 30°C, and up to 40°C in the
hotter months in Southern Vietnam while in Central region has the similar
temperatures and humidity, but just a bit cooler.

who enjoy conventional, cultural and sacred occasions this is the best time for
you.
Where to visit: Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (during Tet holiday), Sapa (January, March), Dalat (January), Nha Trang (February, March).

Summer (April to June)
Northern Vietnam hit maximum temperatures of around 30°C during
the hot, wet summer months, and it can hit up to 40°C in the rest region.
Summer is the best time for beach holiday but it is not
recommended during this period in the South due to rough seas. And if you are
afraid of jam-packed destinations, it is better to travel before May when
Vietnamese parents and families still have to wait for their children school
holiday.
Where to visit: Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (in late April, early
May where the whole country celebrates Reunification Day and International
Labor Day), beaches (mid of May to June), Hue (during Hue festival often in May
or June), Central region of Vietnam.

Autumn (July to September)
Although it’s autumn but in Vietnam it is hot and wet period. Domestic
tourism will increase during this season because of school and most families with
children will opt for holiday during this season. Those popular destinations
are estimate to be occupied, the hike of service fees at tourist spots such as Halong
Bay, Sapa, Danang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, etc.

Winter (October to December)
The weather is considered the most lovely in the year in Northern
Vietnam whereby the sky is clear blue and the wind is gentle. It will be rainy
in the rest of the country but this season there will be a decline of local
citizens travelling.
Where to visit: Hanoi, Halong Bay,
Sapa and the other provinces in Northern Vietnam. Moreover, Ho Chi Minh City
and non-beach areas are also good choices to go this time.
