Wootz! updates about the recent Moonspace U We Glow
Fun Run 2016 at Stadium Shah Alam, Selangor. Well, this is the season 2 of U We
Glow Fun Run in an effort to bring an extraordinary experience back to the running
community closer together. It’s Malaysia’s first UV paint glow run started back
in 2015. However, this year is splashier, brighter and more glow!

There are close to 3500 runners attending the run even though that
evening there was a heavy down pour at the start of the run. But it didn’t stop
the runners for running in the rain in rain coat provided by the organizer. You
will be surprised there were runners as young as 2 years joining their parents.
This year the force was strong, we saw “storm trooper” from Stars War joining
the fun run too.

Mr Alex Wong, CEO of
Monspace Mall representing the title sponsor Monspace, the founder Dato Sri
Jessy Lai (Founder of Monspace) to flag off together with Issac Teoh, the
organizer of U We Glow Fun Run at the start of the race along our local
celebrities and pageants like Amber Chia (Supermodel), Dewi Liana Seriesthe
(Singer), Irene Wong (Mrs South East Globe 2012), Brian Lee (Celebrity Social
Media & Actor), Amelia Lee (Child Star), Annelise Chan (Child Star), Vinly
Yim(Malaysia Charming Mum 2012), Pinky Loo & Mark Yong (Professional
Magician and title holders for Malaysia Book of Records), Michelle Koong
(Malaysia Charming Mum 2014) and more.

There were also UV zones along the route where participant will be
splashed with UV paints and run through a UV lighted area. Participants also enjoyed
the music and took lots of photos. The UV paints are imported from US and it is
non-toxic.

The fun didn’t stop after the run, there where celebrities spray
colour glow paint to the runners, bubble bath, and lucky draws of Ice-Watches
by Andaman Group, Yan Society Birdnests, Jewelry Sets by KelvinGems, and many
more. The event came to an end around 11pm. Besides promoting running for a healthier living, part of the
ticket sales collection will be donated to charity organization to ease up
their daily expenses needs.
