The theme for this Christmas 2016 is A Night at Diptyque so let us be drift away by a tale of brimming with redolence, warm lights, emotions and the mysterious scents of the three new limited edition candles inspired by this magical winter tale ~ UN ENCENS ÉTOILÉ (sparkling incense); ÉPICES ET DÉLICES (delicious spices) and LE ROI SAPIN (the festive fir tree).

UN ENCENS ÉTOILÉ (sparkling incense) in royal blue with fairies caroling, sparkling incense and crystalline elegance. It’s a burst of dazzling elemi and spicy cloves, mysterious swirls of incense and sweet vanilla. If you like something sweet then vanilla is your scent. I find it too sweet for me.

ÉPICES ET DÉLICES (delicious spices) in red that smells like warm gingerbread notes mingle with tasty honey laced in hints of star anise. This scent is like you baking gingerbread, it’s warm, delicious and perfect for tea time.

LE ROI SAPIN (the festive fir tree) in green the incredible smell of a lush, pine-laden forest steeped in the woody tones of resin, cedar and patchouli. I love this scent and it’s kind of blends in with most people. The scent is very Christmas, fresh and soothing.

This is all handmade, the candle was poured into a ceramic holder masterfully crafted by the famous Virebent pottery shop. There are hand-painted gold stars that stand out in the black ceramic holder.
