Recently Timberland Malaysia relaunched their store in Mid Valley Megamall; reimagines itself for the Modern Trail with this season’s theme “Heritage Reimagined”. The store is Asia’s first “workshop” integrated store concept which was designed to create a sensory and experiential journey of discovery. Have you visited their new concept store?

The brand is moving towards embracing the modern consumer landscape by providing lifestyle footwear and apparel to the “Outdoor Lifestyler”.

During the store relaunch event, we also had a preview of Timberland’s latest collection - The Harvest Gold Collection. This season focus on creating pieces that are durable, wearable and highly versatile for days and nights full of new adventures for our outdoor lifestylers.

However, the collection also honours its roots by reimagining its classic silhouettes with quietly expressed technology and newly refined styles in amber hues and glowing golds to rich caramels.

Timberland’s “The Icon” wall tells the story of how the brand’s iconic yellow boot is crafted

The heart of the “workshop” however is “The Boot Room”, a semi-defined space that features the bulk of Timberland’s heritage - their footwear.  Even showcasing a ‘shoelast’ chandelier hung directly above the ceiling, framing Timberland’s “The Icon” wall which tells the story of how the brand’s iconic yellow boot is crafted. 

The upgraded store now features a craft display area and a workbench where customers can gather around as they get their boots customized; customers may select preferred lace colours and even choose to have their initials sewn onto their shoes.

Timberland collaborated with up and coming Malaysian Tattooist Dick Chua to create exclusive personalized designs on 3 iconic yellow Timberland boots which were given away as lucky draw prizes to the media.

Timberland's Friends

Timberland's Friends were also at the store relaunch party such as host and announcer Jeremy Teo, Xandria Ooi and Qi Razali, celebrity violinist Dennis Lau, and composer extraordinaire Yuri Wong. Timberland Friends are influencers chosen based on their contributions in their respective fields.
