It was a treat for myself at Amara Sanctuary of Beauty &
Wellness. It’s a one stop centre for spa whereby you can get your facial,
massages, body treatment, manicure and pedicure services. I decided to try
their Lymphatic Detox full body massage, a much needed for my tired body.

Spa Review: Amara Sanctuary of Beauty & Wellness

Amara Sanctuary of Beauty & Wellness is cozy spa that tucked
on the first floor of a row of shop houses in the busy areas of Sri Petaling;
where you can find a lots of good eateries and restaurants here. I was greeted
by the therapist and then she led me to the waiting area to fill-up my
particulars for registration.

After that I went to the massage room located on the 2nd
floor. Here is my massage room, it’s pretty simple and spacious. My masseur is
an Indonesia lady who has more than 10 year experiences in massage.

Lymphatic Detox Full Body is slightly different from the normal or
the relaxing massage. This one I can feel a bit of pain which is bearable and I
go for the medium pressure. There are a few levels of massage pressure we can choose
from so usually I will go for medium, if you are the hardcore type then you can
go for the strong level.

After the massage there are some bruises on certain areas like my
shoulder, back arms, inner and back thighs. According to the masseur these are
the areas where the toxic accumulated and the stressed areas. It takes about 3
to 5 days for the bruises to subside completely. Amara Sanctuary of Beauty & Wellness Lymphatic Detox body
treatment is slightly different from the other spa. They use the metal thingy
to massage on certain points.
Overall, I like the Lymphatic Detox full body detox massage at the
Amara Sanctuary of Beauty & Wellness. After the massage I feel that my body
is lighter and I go to the toilet more regular. It will be better if I can go
for this massage at least once a month to detox and enjoy the massage. The spa
environment is quite cozy and clean. The masseurs are those experienced ones
that do a proper job and give a good service.
