ASEAN Unity Run & Ride 2016 is back! The event will be held in
Putrajaya on 6th of November featuring 4 competitive categories in
the 10km run with Men and Women’s Open along with the Men and Women’s Veteran
groups. There are also the non-competitive 5km fun run and Stroller Run
category, with an additional category for volunteers and celebrities cycling

For this year the organizer, Aman Malaysia added a 35km fun ride
for its 2016 due to a high demand from youths and young professionals and is
set to take participants through the scenic routes of Putrajaya.

There are 10 FREE iPhone 6 to be won by lucky registrants from registration
period of 25th August to 25th September. The lucky winner
will be notify by email in early October and the phone to be collected on the
race day.

Aman Malaysia, in working with global NGO Unicef, will also hold a
series of campaigns and talks in September and October this year as part of the
build up to the event. The campaigns will focus on raising awareness on the
importance of vaccinations for babies and children, especially amongst parents.

Last year the ASEAN Unity Run 2015 were participated by 10,000 runners from 20
countries. The organizer, Aman Malaysia remains committed to promote the
country as a peace loving society and unite all Asean nations to stand
together.

“Sporting events such as this can have a tremendous unifying
factor as they transcend all possible barriers,” Khairy said after launching
the ASEAN Unity Run & Ride (AURR) 2016 at the Damansara Heights Community
Centre Hari Raya open house gathering.
“Last year’s event was a very successful event, fostering great
ties and unity within the community and the Asean region,” said Aman Malaysia
president Datuk Mohamed Hazali Hassan.
“In addition, working with Unicef this year would help us to raise
awareness on the importance of vaccination for children and babies, as I
believe saving one’s life starts from somewhere,” he added.
