Finally I got the time to blog about my recent Trip of Wonders. Let’s begin the journey, the first day was basically the welcome dinner, program presentation and meeting all the South East Asia bloggers and influencers for this trip at Talaga Sampireun Ancol and Swiss-Bel Hotel in Jakarta.

There were 8 bloggers and influencers from Malaysia for this Trip of Wonders Batch 1. Mind you, there will be more batches of bloggers embarking on this trip at different location and time. 

Trip of Wonders Arrival Day & Welcome Dinner in Jakarta @ Talaga Sampireun Ancol 

We arrived in Jakarta in the late afternoon via Garuda Indonesia Airlines. It was a smooth flight and I had a bit of rest during the 2 hours flight.

 Throughout the trip we flew via Garuda Indonesia

Upon arrival we checked into Swiss-Bel Airport Hotel in Jakarta, the hotel is about 5-minute drive from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Glad that we stayed so near the airport so that we can avoid the heavy traffic in Jakarta city plus we have to wake up very early the next morning at 4am to catch a flight to Makassar.

Trip of Wonders Welcome Dinner and Program Presentation by the Ministry of Tourism Indonesia at Talaga Sampireun, Ancol

We had our Welcome Dinner and Program Presentation by the Ministry of Tourism Indonesia at Talaga Sampireun in Ancol. Ancol Bay City, a resort destination located along Jakarta's waterfront, in Ancol Kelurahan, Pademangan, Indonesia. The restaurants serves Sundane food with village like surrounding and lake.

This was the first time I met some the bloggers and influencers from other South East Asia country. On the first day we were a bit shy but towards the end of the trip we gel so well and it’s hard to depart.

I love the ambience and the surrounding of Talaga Sampireun Restaurant. After the welcome speech, program presentation and briefing is the makan time and mingle around before we go back to our hotel and get ready for the next day to Makassar.
