Main Place Mall Scavenger Hunt Experience

Anyone into team scavenger hunt? I love it because it’s fun and team work. Few weeks ago I participated in Main Place Mall Scavenger Hunt together with a few bloggers. Do you want to know how we did it?

Main Place Mall Scavenger Hunt Experience

The hunt started in the morning and ended after lunch. We gathered at Kemaman Classic Kopitiam for a drink while waiting for the rest to arrive and then the followed by briefing about the rules and regulations of the scavenger hunt plus how the points are given when we complete each tasks.

My team members Miera and Tommy

We were then divided into 3 teams whereby each team has 3 members. So I teamed up with Miera and Tommy. Then we were given a pen and an item list. We have to search for the items starting from alphabet A to Z, total there are 26 items. 5 points will be given for each item found, plus we can only select 2 items from each outlet. Not only that each team has to designate either 1 mobile or camera whenever we select the items from the shop we have to snap a photos as the proof and write it down name of item and the store name in the item list.

Strategizing the tasks

It took us about a 3 minutes to strategized and divided the tasks. I will be the one writing the items, Miera take photos of the items and Tommy do the google search. An extra 10 points will be given for group photo mission, each team is only entitled for 1 mission. So our team decided on playing the game at the arked Molly Fantasy.

Scavenger Hunt begins... 

During the whole Scavenger Hunt we walked in many shops, outlets, supermarket and restaurants. It was a good exercise and I enjoyed the team work and effort for each members. Every team was excited to complete their tasks. The team with the most items found correctly in the fastest time will be the winner and our team completed the all tasks fastest.

Now I am quite familiar with the mall already. Main Place Mall located at USJ 21, a four-storey neighbourhood mall with 130 shops and ample parking for Subang Jaya, Putra Heights, Puchong, Shah Alam and beyond. The mall has easy accessibility to and from the major roads and highways such as LDP, NKVE, NPE, Federal Highway and near to MRT station USJ 21. The MRT station is very convenient and its only 200m away with covered walkway to the Mall.

The mall is a place to shop, chill, dine, style, game and pamper all in 1 place. Get your groceries at Jaya Grocer. There are several major fashion brands outlet available such as Uniqlo, Brand Outlet, Nichii, Cotton On, Hang Ten, Hush Puppies, Apparel, Padini Kids Concept Store, Minoshe, Mojonet, Dr. Kong, Lovisa and many more.

There are arrays of F&B outlets to hang-out and dine from Asian fusion to Western and from sweet delicacies to snacks and fast meals. Other than that we also found Daiso, Mr. D.I.Y., Okashi World, Shamelin Furniture, Lovely Lace Home and many specialty stores. Not only that there is Celebrity Fitness, pharmacies and health and beauty shops available too.

The event with prize presentation for everyone and lunch at the Fish & Co. 

Overall I enjoyed the scavenger hunt organized by the Main Place Mall. Through the fun activities like this we get ourselves familiarized with the shops and the items that we can get at this mall. I find that this neighbourhood mall has the necessity items that we need and look for on daily basis.
