We were back to Ippudo again to try their 2016 Grand New Menu at Ippudo
BSC, Bangsar Shopping Centre. This round we tried Ippudo’s first “Japanese
Styled Mixed Ramen” called Mazesoba that comes with broth and gyoza at the side.

Here are the new dishes on the new menu that will be available at Ippudo
BSC from 11th July onwards.
Mango Salad, RM29.50 |

It’s refreshing when you have diced mango served with assorted
fresh greens and diced salmon tossed in light yuzu dressing. If you are into salad
this is great, light and refreshing.
Amaebi Tartar, RM34 |
Amaebi Tartar, RM34
Diced fresh raw shrimp served with avocado and wasabi dressing
topped with tobiko and seaweed. Mixed the shrimp, avocado, tobiko with the wasabi
dressing and wrapped then with the seaweed. The flavour is just right and is
great starter for those who like fresh shrimps.

Marinated deep fried chicken with vinegar sauce served with homemade
tartar sauce on the side. This is moderate only.
Seafood Foil Yaki, RM39.50 |
Seafood Foil Yaki, RM39.50
Steamed mixed seafood mussels, shrimp, squids and scallops and
assorted vegetables served with spicy ponzu sauce in foil on hot plate. The sauce
is flavourful, spicy with cili padi and sourish very appetizing, it go very
well with rice. If you like spicy and sour food then you will enjoy this dish.

6 pieces of salmon sushi platter, fresh and satisfying.
Mazesoba, RM28 |
This is Ippudo’s first “Japanese Styled Mixed Ramen” served with
thick chewy noodles and 9 uniquely selected complimentary ingredients. Mixed
all together and eat it, the ramen is at room temperature, not hot or cold.

Overall,
the portion is quite big with lots of ingredients. The mixed ramen is flavorful
with a hint of spiciness comes with ramen broth and broiled gyoza.

Watermelon Sherbet, RM19
Homemade watermelon sherbet served with cheese cake and pineapple
preserve. At last we had something cooling after all the spicy food.
Overall, the 2016 Grand New Menu @ Ippudo BSC food is decent and
on the spicy side. I like their Seafood Foil Yaki and Mazesoba.

I love Japanese food! This seems like a good restaurant to go to because they have a lot of unique food items that I don't usually see in Japanese restaurants.
ReplyDeleteThe food looks yummy and it's Japanese! I tasted some Japanese food before and I really likes the salmon sushi, any soba, ramen and seafood delish. The grand menu is great in addition to their menu.

ReplyDeleteI'm salivating just by looking at the photos. I love Japanese cuisine and I wouldn't tire of eating sushi! Now that it's rainy season here in the Philippines, ramen seems to be a great comfort food.

ReplyDeleteI love Japanese food!! It is so expensive here in Sweden compared to Singapore and they only sell sushis here.... and gyoza. They all look so good and the price seems reasonable!
