Happy Family Day @ Bandar Rimbayu

Wootz another fun day out! Hey we were at Happy Family Day at The Arc, Bandar Rimbayu last Saturday. This is not my first time to Bandar Rimbayu, I always enjoy their events plus the scenic and greenery on my drive there too. This time we had more Bandar Rimbayu exciting games, entertainment, plus we get to view Penduline showrooms furnished by the two finalists of the IJM Land Designer Award 2016 (iLDA 2016) and vote who will be the final winner.

The two finalists of iLDA 2016 - Goh Sow Yee and Leo Wong Kwan Theng were given an allocated budget of RM150,000 each to furnished the Penduline showroom in Bandar Rimbayu. Visitors aged 18 and above will be able to vote for their favourite interior design directly on site and help determine the winner of iLDA 2016 under the theme “Reliving Nostalgic Memories”.

First we have to register and then view the interior design of both showroom, Type A and Type B. Well, interior design is very subjective and personal. What I like and need maybe different from yours because everyone has different requirements, concepts and also color preference. After viewing both, I like the Type A. I think its suits my lifestyle and the color theme is something that I would have for my dream house. I like simplicity and spacious, the furniture are not too cluttered and one of the kids room with mattress on the floor that is so versatile.

Vote for iLDA 2016

So we were here to celebrate the finalization of the showrooms and vote for our favourite iLDA 2016, this important milestone for both IJM LAND and the contestants too.

 5D cinema @ Bandar Rimbayu Happy Family Day

Not only that, there were many fun activities to entertain both adults and children all day. We love the 5D cinema, that day they were showing the Canyon Coaster. I feel as if I am taking a real roller coaster that turns the magic of short movies into a living reality by making use of 6 motion hydraulic chairs.

 The immersive experience does not just appeal to your audio and visionary senses like a regular cinema would do, it fully incorporates all your senses by including special effects like vibration, fog, bubbles, thunder storms, snow or rain, all depending on the film’s storyline, and offers a unique and exciting adventure to both children and adults. It was so entertaining and fun, I don’t mind going for the second round too.

Then I went to play the zorb ball, there were 2 types on and and on water. I tried the land one. Initially I find it hard to balance but after a while I got the momentum but opening the arms and legs to balance in the ball and started to move around. Fun though.

Bandar Rimbayu Show Gallery & got my free foot massage 

After all the walking and playing games, I went into the sales and show gallery to chill. Over there its air-conditioned, I can get an overview of the project landscape, the units for sales, quotation and talk to the sales personnel regarding the current and future development, enquire about house price and make the booking. We make our own beverages or water.

Walk further inside there was a corner providing free shoulder and head massage or foot massage by the blind masseurs. While the children can play at the children play area or be entertained by a balloon clown.

There were a few food stalls, I like the Thai food

There was a mini flea market outside the show gallery selling all the knick-knacks, clothes, accessories, books and even bicycle. For those who feel hungry after all the activities, there were food stalls. I like the Thai food and I ordered tom yum noodles, yumsss…….

Bumped into Xavier on my way to the Penduline showroom for iLDA 2016 voting

Overall it was a fun and fruitful day, I get to view the Penduline showroom in Bandar Rimbayu and vote for the iLDA 2016 grand prize winner. Feel like a kid again playing the games and had a free foot massage. Bandar Rimbayu is a sustainable township with lush greenery, well planned housing and surrounding support facilities like school, shopping malls, hospitals, eatery and many more.
