I started using Philips VisaPure gentle cleansing device was two years ago and that was my first Philips skincare devise. This year to increase the convenience of daily beauty regimes, Philips Malaysia launched four new skincare devices at Sephora, Sunway Pyramid to complement its award-winning Philips VisaPure.

Finally unboxing my Philips VisaPure Advanced set. So the box consist of Philips VisaPure Advanced handle with 3 interchangeable head such as Deep Cleansing (normal), Revitalising Massage and Fresh Eyes head.

It also comes with a cute pastle pink storage palette, protection cap, travel pouch, charging stand, adapter, socket for small plus, warranty card, certificate of purchase, user manual, massage head and freah eyes booklet and a guide book. The Philips VisaPure Advanced features a tailored cleansing and care approach, delivering a pampering experience. The near-field communication technology in the device automatically recognises and differentiates between the three attachments, triggering a tailored program suited to it.

Alright we got what we need and want and charged the battery. Whay are we waiting for so let’s start using it. Cleansing is the first step of our daily skincare regime and it’s also the most important step which sometimes we overlook. If our skin still has impurities the next skincare product that we apply on will not performed at its optimum level or effective. So always make sure we cleanse thoroughly.

VisaPure Advanced Deep Cleansing head

First and foremost, we start our beauty regime with cleansing using the VisaPure Advanced Deep Cleansing head. It cleanses our skin 10 times better compared to our regular cleansing with fingers. The brush brittle is very soft and gentle, imagine 17,000 ultrafine bristles are cleansing our face every morning and evening. It gives a deep gentle cleansing, removing the dead skin cells, impurities and make-up residue that can clog our pores and cause blackheads or whiteheads. After that it makes our skincare products absorption improved.

The cleansing program consists of 3 treatment periods of 20 seconds. Each period has a specific rotation direction related to the skin zone. The face can be divided into 3 zones, right cheek, left cheek and forehead. For optimal performance, start on the right cheek and switch to the left cheek after 20 seconds. Use the last 20 seconds to treat the forehead.

Use the VisaPure Advanced for cleansing the neck and décolleté

You can also use the VisaPure Advanced for cleansing the neck and décolleté. Remember VisaPure Advanced is also safe to use in the shower or in the bath. Do not overdo the cleansing and do not cleanse any zone longer than 20 seconds.

There are 2 settings, I is for a gentle treatment and II for an intensive treatment. Press the on/off button to start and stop. It will start to operate at setting I, if you want to switch to setting II then press the on/off button twice. Press 3 times to switch off or wait until it switch off automatically. If you are first timer, select the setting I first. Once your skin can adapt to it then you can try the setting II.

When the battery is almost empty, the charging light flashes amber for 15 seconds. However, the battery still contains enough power for a complete treatment. Charging the device takes approximately 6 hours. A fully charged device can be used at least for 2 weeks without charging. This is awesome when we carry it for our trip.

The interchangeable head and its easy to do it

It’s very easy to change the head, wait for the device to complete stop and off; gentle put off the head and plug in another head and start using it. Simple as that.

The Revitalizing Massage head is designed together with experts in Japanese massage. The customized DualMotion program gently stimulates the skin to improve the blood circulation and gives you the healthy glow. Apply the serum or massage cream or oil then use the revitalizing massager to enhance the efficacy of the skincare. It is suitable for all skin types. Use 2 to 3 times a week and it consists of 2 treatment periods of 1 ½ minutes. Please take note that each treatment period has a specific rotation direction optimized for the skin zone treated.

Revitalizing Massage head 

Place the Revitalizing Massage head on the right cheek then gently move the head across from the nose towards the ear or outward movement and repeat. After 1 ½ minute, the devise will pause briefly to let us know that we have to move to another side of the cheek. After the program clean the Revitalizing Massage head with water and mild soap and dry it.

Fresh Eyes head 

Fresh Eyes head is also customized DualMotion program that gently massage the skin around the eye contour areas. The premium coating give a mild cooling sensation and refreshing experience to boost the tired eyes in only 30 seconds. It consist of 2 treatment periods of 15 seconds and has 2 intensity settings – setting I vibrates and setting II vibrates and rotates. Apply your regular eye gel or cream then start with the right eyes and when the device pauses after 15 seconds then move to the left eyes.

Overall the Philips VisaPure Advanced is a pretty complete set with 3 interchangeable head to keep my skin radiant, revitalized and refreshed anywhere and anytime at my comfort and convenience. The best part is the long battery life, once it’s fully charged it can last for 2 weeks which is so convenient and great for travelling. Even we don’t have time to go to salon for facial this device can help to boost our skin radiance and improved skincare absorption and blood circulation. It’s a skincare device that perfect for busy women.

I use the cleansing twice a day, morning and evening. After a long hard day outside be it in the office or attending events, I just want to get home take a warm shower, cleanse my face and do a bit of massage on my tired skin and refreshed my eyes.
