Sometimes finding the right shade and suitable type of foundation for our skin conditions can be a challenge. Recently I tried the new Shiseido Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation that is airy, flawless and synchronized with my skin tone and conditions.

This new Shiseido foundation will appear differently on every individual face because the texture and shades will adapt to each skin tone and recognize skin conditions. It’s a foundation that is able to synchronize with our individual skin qualities, beautifying it instead of covering it up.

It comes in a glass bottle with pump and packed in red box. I like the unpretentious packaging and frost transparent glass bottle so that I can monitor how much I used.

Skincare before makeup

I play by this rule, skincare first then makeup. So remember to prep your skin with adequate and suitable skincare everyday before you start your makeup regime. So these are the skincare that I used during the blogger workshop before I apply the Shiseido Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation. Although this foundation comes with SPF20 but we still have to apply sunblock before that. I like the Glow Enhancing Primer it makes my skin dewy and glow.

After prepping my skin it’s to check the shades, I shortlist 3 shades that are suitable for my skin the Neutral 1, Neutral 2 and Golden 2. Here are the swatches. I tested it on my jawline and finally decided on the Neutral 1 that enhanced my skin radiance and at the same time look natural also.

The correct way to use is first shake the bottle, the press 1 time. For me 1 pump is enough to cover my whole face. The dab it on the skin and use gentle circular outward motion to blend the foundation. After that you can add slightly on the areas that need more attention or coverage such as dark spots, scars and etc.

The texture is very light, fluid and blendable. The finishing is natural, airy and velvety smooth. Coverage is moderate. Skin will still look flawless but not overly done or heavy which I like very much. 

After applying the foundation, I also managed to touch up my makeup with. The foundation can last me from noon till night and still look alright even under the hot weather. It is the ultimate alliance between makeup and skin.

Overall, this foundation is lightweight at the same time give a natural moderate coverage. The finishing is impressive whereby the shades and textures sync with my skin tone and give the comfort of airy.
