Review: Mary Kay Into The Garden Spring 2016 Collection
|
What do you think of Mary Kay Into The Garden Spring 2016
Collection? So pretty and feminine, isn’t it? I adore this new limited edition
“Into The Garden” Collection. The packaging is full of pretty and pastel
blooms. This collection is a spring assortment of garden-inspired beauty
must-haves.
Mary Kay limited-edition Into the Garden Collection |
Mary Kay developed the limited-edition Into the Garden Collection in collaboration with fashion designer Patricia Bonaldi. We got the best
of both work makeup & fashion and perfectly fits into current fashion’s floral
fascination for this season.
Patricia Bonaldi, a Brazilian fashion designer that has long
enamored celebrities and fashion editors alike with her aesthetics for creating
wearable works of art. Add the beauty expertise of Mary Kay Global Makeup
Artist Sebastian Correa, and the result is a makeup collection with its finger
firmly on fashion’s pulse.
The New Limited-Edition Into the Garden Collection
Limited-Edition Into the Garden Color Compact @ RM 115
Tadah! this compact is the highlight of the whole Spring 2016 collection.
It consist of 4 eye colors - Violet, Natural Taupe, Pink and Plum Brown. And 3
lip colors - nude, pink and coral.
Limited-Edition Into the Garden Color Compact |
The 4 eye colors are sufficient to create the spring look. Apply
eye primer first. Then I start applying the base eye shadow, natural taupe on
the whole eyelid. Next, I apply the violet on the eyelid up to the crease. Apply
the plum brown on the outer lid and slightly on the crease. Lastly is to apply
the shimmering pink on the brow bone as highlight. Then blend it and we are
done.
Color Swatches: Into the Garden Color Compact 4 eye colors & 3 lip colors |
The 4 eye colors its iridescent with subtle shimmers. It’s color
pay-off is moderate and suitable to create the natural pastel look. I like the violet
and natural taupe colors it gives a very feminine touch. Remember to apply eye
primer before your eye color so that your eye color with last longer and the
color will be more vivid.
The lip colors is lip gloss actually, the color is very sheer.
Among the 3 lip colors, I like the coral because the color is more prevailing and more pigmented.
Overall, Mary Kay Into The Garden Color Compact is sweet to create
the spring look within a few minutes. It is suitable for travelling and from
day to night. At night you might want to add more violet and plum brown to
gives a more intense look. The compact also comes with 1 dual ended applicator.

Mary Kay Limited-Edition Into the Garden Nail Lacquer @ RM 30

appeals.
I like to play mix and match. So I used all the three colors together.
