ck2 Laser Battle Thrill @ Berjaya Times Square, KL

Well, I usually go for laser tag games with my colleagues but this round was a little bit different with a group of bloggers. So have you play laser tag before? If not you might want to check it out. It was a fun Sunday at the ck2 Laser Battle Thrill in Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur. This was a blogger challenge for us to experience the thrill of life and the thrill of youth with Calvin Klein latest fragrance, ck2 a scent for #the2ofus.

I am sure most of us know about the ck one and I think some of us still using it untill today. Hey did you know that the ck one was launched 20 years ago. Omg, yes so many years ago and now the house of ck comes back with the anthem for millennial that celebrates the life of today’s youth. Expect it to be more bold, free and diverse. Burst with thrilling experiences that are amplified by the connections between two people.

So here we are at the Laser Battle on Sunday morning and all ready to experience the thrill of life. Laser Battle is actually a local company that started in Ipoh and today has emerged as the single largest laser tag operator across Asia and also the official partner of the largest laser tag manufacturer in the world, Zone Empire from Australia. As of today, Laser Battle has 4 outlets at Berjaya Times Square in Kuala Lumpur, City Square in Johor Bahru, Queenbay Mall in Penang and Ipoh Parade.

Welcome speech by Mr.Tee

The day started with a short welcome speech by Mr.Tee, the product manager for Calvin Klein fragrances.

Then we were briefed about the laser tag game plan, regulations and also how to use the laser equipment. Plus there is locker located next to the entrance for us to store our stuff before we enter the battle field.

We were divided into 4 teams – yellow, orange, red and green. I was in Team Orange and there we 5 of us. Go Team Orange! we were decked in the battle vest that has blinking lights on it and equipped our laser gun. Ready for the battle, bang! bang!

The laser tag game is all about teamwork. Know your team members strength and weakness plus the surrounding threats. From there we strategize and focus on each member’s strength and their experiences. Remember its teamwork and strategies; not how fast you can run or how sharp you can shot. You can't fight the battle alone unless you are RAMBO. 

Our mission was to shoot the “base" of our opponent and then back to our own “base” to shot and claim the flag. There will be defenders and attackers. Everyone has their roles to play. We can only attack the opponents using laser.

Inside the battle field is dark and it's like a maze so you got to familiarize with the route to the opponent base and back. Be careful there are many corners and when you turn you might bump into someone else. 

Each game is 10 minutes. You might think it's too short but I tell you 10 minutes in the laser battle field makes me feel like 30 minutes. 

With bloggers from other team as well 

It was really a fun and exciting workout for me as I was defending my team base and at the same time chased after the opponents who managed to shoot our base. I sweated a lot hahaha…

The first game, we competed with Team Yellow and we won the battle. Then we proceed to the next level to compete with Team Green for the final grand prize. We did not win the second game, so we won the First Runner-Up in the tournament - Not Too Bad right. Cheers!

I am so proud of our team members, as each of us performed our best. The most important was WE HAD FUN & TEAMWORK! not so much of the prize or medals. 

That's what ck2 all about, the connection garner between people that come together to accept each other differences and achieve the same goal; that make our connections and friendship stronger and define what makes us, us.

The fragrance is suitable for both female and male because it will smells differently on every individual. For example, the scent changes when we are with our partner, family, friends or colleagues.  

We tested the ck2 edt after the game

Yes! We did tested the ck2 eau de toilette spray after the game. It smells fresh and woody on me but on some bloggers it smell sweet and fruity. We used the same fragrance but the scent is different on each of us. This is so unique, how can it be? I will explore more about this later.

Overall, ck2 Laser Battle Thrill @ Berjaya Times Square, KL was a fun and adrenaline rush experience for me together with the bloggers. Through this games, we also get to know each other better and enhanced our friendship. Thanks to Calvin Klein and Laser Battle for this THRILL.
