TONI&GUY Socialized Collection 2016

Here for TONI&GUY Socialized Collection 2016 showcase at Apex Zouk, Kuala Lumpur last week. I kind of like this swanky bar that overlooking the Petronas Twin Tower. That evening there were 10 styles, 8 female and 2 men range from longer lengths with distressed textures, punctuated by overgrown eye skimming fringes to short graphic shapes featuring techniques such as skin fades, strong angled disconnections and serrated graduations.

This is the latest Socialized Collection and it’s a creative interpretation of Global Creative Director, Sasha Mascalo’s artistic vision working closely with the TONI&GUY International Artistic Team to present 10 definitive cut and color techniques for 2016.

8 Styles for Female – the soraya, the pearl, the instalux, the bohemia, the ikon, the kroma, the bailey and the bronte. Male – the sonic boom and the kidult. I find that The Soraya and The Instalux are the two outstanding for female. It exudes the edgyness and enhanced one's character. 2 Styles for Male - The Sonic Boom and The Kidult.

Overall for this Socialized Collection, TONI&GUY see colour worm as a statement to enhance a cut with palettes of saturated retro red, electric violet and pewter and dramatic high contrasts to compliments each style.
