I love seafood especially lobsters and he loves steaks. Sometimes we have a hard time deciding which restaurant to go to, we have to choose either a go-to seafood restaurant or American restaurant that serves good steak. Hmmm… recently I found a restaurant that serves quality and delicious Steaks & Lobsters at Desa Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur. This settled our dilemma of where to eat on Sunday evening and it’s a perfect place for the whole family as well.

Steaks & Lobsters at Desa Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur

That day I was with a few bloggers friends to try out Steaks & Lobsters new menu which is now available at their restaurant. You can expect truffle-infused dishes, flavourful lobsters, and varieties of appetizers.

Appetizers: Garlic Herb Lemon Mussels RM24, S&L Famous Portobello Fries RM19,

Sweet Barbecue Chicken Wings RM25, Signature Grilled Baby Lobster RM28, Chili Diced Steak Potato Skins RM29

Let’s start and here are our appetizers. The Signature Grilled Baby Lobster RM28 meat is juicy and slightly spicy with drizzles of Sriracha sauce. The Chili Minced Steak Potato Skins RM29 with savory diced wagyu beef. The Sweet Barbecue Chicken Wings RM25 is crispy on the outside coated with sweet and spicy sauce plus tender on the inside. The hot plate of Garlic Herb Lemon Mussels RM24 goes well with the charcoal bread. And also the S&L Famous Portobello Fries RM19.

Signature Flaming American Lobster RM110 / RM205

Tadahhh!!! here are the main highlight three gigantic 800gm lobsters. Omg… I love lobsters and I can’t wait to dig in. I was salivating in hunger while shooting these photos hehehe. I love the Signature Flaming American Lobster RM110 / RM205 the flavour is not too heavy therefore I still can taste the natural sweetness of the lobsters. It flamed with homemade aioli and topped with addictive roe to give the kicking aroma. It’s is served with lemon bernaise sauce at the side.

Grilled American Lobster RM98 / RM195

If you like to eat your lobsters in natural or original flavors, then the Grilled American Lobster RM98 / RM195 is best for you. You can taste the natural sweetness and juiciness of the fresh lobsters.

Kaffir And Lemongrass Roasted American Lobster at RM98 / RM195

The new addition in Steaks & Lobsters menu is the Kaffir And Lemongrass Roasted American Lobster at RM98 / RM195. This has more flavor with a blend of spices like percik gravy with lemongrass, turmeric, spices, and chili.

Truffle Fromage Ribeye RM75, BOC Ribeye RM68 & Wagyu Round Sirloin RM88

Here are for the Steak lovers, I only take those photos but I did not try the steaks because I can’t eat beef. The 300gm Wagyu Round Sirloin only at RM88, according to my friends it is perfectly medium, so tender that it melts in your mouth. The Truffle Fromage Ribeye RM75 is slightly more tasteful because it’s topped with melted cheese and sprinkles of truffle. The BOC Ribeye RM68 with bacon, onion ragu and cheese is sweet and savory.

Truffle Mushroom Pasta RM32 & Lobster Pesto Pasta RM42

The Truffle Mushroom Pasta RM32 with quite generous portion of French black truffle, fused with shimeiji, portobello and white mushrooms on a creamy sauce base. The fragrant Lobster Pesto Pasta RM42 comes with baby lobsters and also generous portion of pastain creamy sauce and cherry tomatoes.

Pan-Roasted Duo Stuffed Chicken Mushroom Roulade RM29 & Air Flown New Zealand Lamb Loins RM42

The Pan-Roasted Duo Stuffed Chicken Mushroom Roulade RM29 like roasted chicken wrap stuffed with portobello strips, mixed mushroom ragu and cheddar cheese fillings. I am not a fan of chicken wrap however taste quite good also. The Air Flown New Zealand Lamb Loins RM42 is not too bad. I like lamb but this lamb loin marination might be slightly heavy for me, bit salty and might be too well done.

8 sticks of S&L Spanish Churros RM18

We were so full however there is always some room for desserts. That day we tried the 8 sticks of S&L Spanish Churros RM18 drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce, sprinkled with cinammon sugar and served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Milkshades: Mancado, Quaker, Mocha @ RM15.90 each

Oh ya, before I forgot we also tried their milkshades. The Mancado RM15.90 a special blend of fresh avocado and mango and Mocking. The Quaker RM15.90 french vanilla ice cream blended with duck bacon ice cream. The Mocha RM15.90 a mocha infused milkshake.

Overall the dinner at Steaks & Lobsters @ Desa Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur was scrumptious especially the lobsters and appetizers are really good.
