| My Last Run for 2015 - Hatten Neon Nite Run 2015 |
Here we are on New Year eve we checked in at the Hatten Hotel, Malacca which is listed as one of Malaysian
UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The
hotel location is so strategic with shopping mall attached and also Jonker Walk
is nearby within 10 minute walk.

The traffic in Malacca town was pretty congested since Christmas with tourist from all over Malaysia and Singapore especially. I am glad that the run was in Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall that is just right opposite of our hotel so we just have to cross over.

It was an eventful night at Dataran Pahlawan with neon lights and a fun run around the city on that day. Unfortunately it started to rain shortly after our run so we could not stay for the countdown.

Nevertheless I had a good experience celebrating my New Year Eve and exploring Malacca town the next day. We also discovered a new and cozy cafe tucked behind Backlane Zakka at Jonker Walk, the Backlane Coffee. Love the rustic decor, the cofffee and burnt caramel macaroon are decent. Thanks to Hatten Group and Hatten Hotel for hosting us.

What a great way to end the year! The event sound really awesome, I would've loved to be part of it. Love your New Year's eve outfit as well!!!
ReplyDeleteI guess that means that if we want to visit Malacca, we should avoid the yearend week because it gets really congested. I do not really enjoy travelling in very crowded places. You can't get a picture taken with photobombers, hehe.

ReplyDeleteThe neon top is pretty cool! And it's an amazing sight with all the different neon tops together! It will be cooler if there's a photo taken with everyone making a sign!
