As mentioned in my previous blog post this year Coca-Cola has 8 Limited Edition Chinese New Year Cans to welcome the year Red Fire Monkey. Each can carries different auspicious message and symbols such as lasting youthfulness, peace in the family, smooth-sailing career, flourish in love, abundance in wealth, benefactors aplenty, prosperity in business and academic success.

As for me, I personally like the “lasting youthfulness” because I wish that I can maintain my youthfulness and continue to enjoy every moments of my life. Well, aging is inevitable however we can prolong our youth if we take good care of ourselves.

The older generations like my parents, “peace in the family” especially during Chinese New Year and throughout the whole year is their priority. I will present them with the cans to protect the “peace in the family” that feature a pair of stone lions to protect the family members in the home and a gourd. It’s an important symbol for Chinese culture to maintain the harmonious chi in the family.

Wootz! I received the “abundance in wealth” cans from the God of Prosperity during Chinese New Year Lou Sang celebration recently. Wah… money money come! I also hope that this year my projects will be successful and looking forward to abundance in wealth. Huat Ah!
