MIS.M 2015: Boats, Yachts, Helicopter, Planes and Fashion @ Maritime International Showcase Malaysia 2015

The inaugural Maritime International Showcase Malaysia 2015 (MIS.M 2015) happening from 3^rd till 6^th December @ Straits Quay, Penang the island’s first and only seafront retail marina and host by Malaysia’s Island of Penang. MIS.M 2015 will feature a Nautical Lifestyle showcase, a display of business aviation crafts which includes a helicopter and sea planes, and a Mercedes-Benz Dream Cars showcase along Straits Quay.

This 4-day event, which will be the first combined B2B and B2C maritime event in the country, will consists of a marine lifestyle exhibition, a boat showcase, and a maritime forum featuring international and local speakers.

Among the highlights of the event is the maritime forum which will feature some of the leading names in international maritime. The speakers will be presenting on topics such as boat building and the yachting market in Asia, the growth potential of the local maritime industry, marine tourism in Malaysia, marina development, and others.

MIS.M 2015 is organised by Reissiger Marine, together with event partners - Pen Marine Sdn Bhd, STYLO International, and Boatshed Asia, the Malaysian-based Asian subsidiary of the world’s largest boat brokerage firm. MIS.M 2015 is presented by Mercedes-Benz, who is the main event sponsor, together with international aviation firms, Airbus and Dassault Aviation as co-sponsors.

One of the major highlights of MIS.M 2015 will be the MIS.M Gala Dinner which will take place at Penang’s historical Suffolk House on the 4th December 2015. During this event, the organizers will be presenting a number of ASEAN maritime awards to individuals and companies who have contributed to the regional maritime industry. 

Among the awards to be given out include ASEAN Maritime Development Award 2015, ASEAN Maritime Company of the Year 2015, ASEAN Maritime Personality Award 2015 and MIS.M Maritime Company of the Year 2015.
