Konnichiwa!!! Finally I can tick off one place from my bucket list.
We are here at Universal Studios Japan (USJ) this Autumn on such a lovely weather.
Well, I have been to the Universal Studios Singapore and Universal Studios
Hollywood few years ago and this Autumn I got a chance to step into Universal
Studios Japan. I felt like I was teleported into a wonderland that never fail
to thrill me every second.

Part 1: Things You Must Do at Universal Studios Japan, Osaka
|
Arigatou gozaimasu to AirAsia X and Universal Studios Japan for realizing this 4 days 3 nights memorable on AirAsia X Familiarisation Trip to Osaka. Welcome to the world full of wonders and surprises!
|
Universal Studios Japan, OSaka |
This is going to be a long post with lots of photos hopefully you
get more in depth information. I decided to split it into 2 post for Things You Must Do @ Universal Studios
Japan, Osaka because there are too many things, experiences and photos that
I want to share with you all. Some of the attractions I have it on individual
post, so take note on the link ya.
|
Eat-Man Restaurant & Hotel New Hankyu, Umeda |
We arrived in Osaka the night before and over at the Hotel New Hankyu, Umeda. That night we
had supper at one of the 24 hours Japanese called Eat-Man opposite the hotel. It’s was a long day so we did not explore the surround
that night, instead we went back to the hotel and rest early to get ready for
Universal Studios Japan. You can read more about my Day 1 in Umeda, Osaka post here.
|
Universal Globe |
1. Universal Globe
Rise and shine had our early breakfast in the hotel then check
out. We headed over to Universal Studios Japan early. Yahoo! Finally arrived
and it’s a must to take photo at the Universal
Globe before entering the theme park. Universal Studios Japan (USJ) was the
first theme park under the Universal Studios brand to be built in Asia. It was
opened in March 2001 in the Osaka Bay Area. The queue was already quite long at
10am even on weekdays.
|
Universal Studios Japan Map |
Universal Studios Japan currently has 8 sections - Hollywood, New
York, San Francisco, Jurassic Park, Waterworld, Amity Village, Universal
Wonderland and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. We get to enjoy many
amusement rides, ranging from child-friendly carousels to thrilling roller
coasters and simulators based on popular movies such as Spiderman, Back to the
Future, Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park. We took some of these rides and roller
coasters as well.
|
Universal Wonderland – Hello Kitty’s Ribbon Collection |
2. Universal Wonderland – Hello
Kitty’s Ribbon Collection, Elmo Go Go Skateboard & Snoopy Studios
First stop as we entered USJ, omggg… we are going to meet Hello
Kitty. Yes! we get to see Hello Kitty’s latest fashion items, take a ride down
her High Heels Slide and of course take photos, selfie, wefie with her. It’s so
kawaii…
|
Elmo Go Go Skateboard |
Then we hopped into the Elmo Go Go Skateboard, it was a smooth
ride and its suitable for the whole family. Kind of enjoy the wind blowing and
the fresh air. There is also Snoopy Studios for the fans and the flying Snoopy
for adults and kids as well.
|
The Amazing Adventure of Spider-Man |
3. The Amazing Adventure of
Spider-Man
If you are a Spiderman fans this is a must stop for you. The
immersive experience taking the 4K3D Amazing Adventure of Spider-Man ride.
Crawled into the spidey world, I experienced the 3D effects, fog, smoke,
strobes, effects with fire, water, loud sounds, pitch black and as if Spiderman
standing directly in front of me during the entire 5 minutes ride. It was
unbelievable fun and exciting.
|
Amazing Adventure of Spider-Man souvenir shop |
Although I am afraid of heights but this ride
does divert my attention to 3D visual and audio plus the surrounding effects.
After the ride we went to the Spider-Man souvenir shop.
|
Halloween Costume Party |
4. Costume Party
It was Halloween Costume
Party here in Universal Studios Japan. People here are more sporting and
adventurous. They really go all out to dress up for the party even though it’s
day time.
|
Halloween Costume Party |
We have the zombie, vampire, chinese vampire, minions, Alice in the
wonderland, and many more. You name it they have it? Here you go.. I guess
picture tell a thousand words.
|
Halloween Costume Party |
People here are friendly and happy plus they gladly
take photos with us when we asked them politely. Have fun and take lots of
photos, videos or you can also try creepy doll makeup and join them. I am going have a separate post for this Halloween Costume
Party @ Universal Studios Japan so stay tune for my blog post after this ya…
|
Halloween Happiness Market |
5. Halloween Happiness Market
We stopped by the Halloween Happiness Market for a drink and
snacks. Guess what I had this Halloween Special Snacks it’s like mochi, when I eat
it the color will changed my tongue to blue, purple or green.
There are lots of
Halloween snacks, food, games, souvenirs and also costumes to buy there.
|
Park Side Grille for Lunch |
6. Park Side Grille for Lunch
There are many restaurants and places you can stop for food from breakfast
till supper. You can dine in restaurants, take away or stop for snacks or
coffee break. We had our lunch at the Park Side Grille it’s such a charming
ambience with great view overlooking the park.
|
The White Rose vs Black Rose Set Lunch @ 2380Yen at Park Side Grille |
We had white and black rose set which is about 2380 Yen or about RM80
that comes with appetizer, soup and main course. Overall the food, ambience and
price for a set lunch menu like this is pretty reasonable based on the cost of
living in Japan moreover it’s inside the theme park.
|
Universal Studios Japan, Osaka |
Well, this is only my Part 1 of the Things You Must Do @ Universal
Studios Japan, Osaka which it the 1st half of the day from morning
till lunch. Now I need to take a break and continue after lunch. The 2nd
part will be more fun… we are going to explore the rides, Parade de Carnivale and
of course I am saving the best for last to enter the The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Jeng, jeng jeng…
