Galaxy Runway Inspired by Star Wars @ Malaysia Fashion Week 2015

A quick update about the upcoming Malaysia Fashion Week 2015 that will kick start on 4^th Nov, it’s going to be an epic Star Wars fashion exploration. The Galaxy Runway inspired by Star Wars at the Malaysia Fashion Week 2015 closing gala on November 7. Expect Jedi-worth runway styles that pulsate with sculptural cuts and structured silhouettes in the lead-up to the upcoming film Star Wars: The Force Awakens releasing in cinemas on December 17. Galaxy Runway Inspired by Star Wars @ Malaysia Fashion Week 2015

The Galaxy Runway inspired by Star Wars will see Datuk Professor Jimmy Choo, the renowned shoe maven and couturier leading the Star Wars high fashion runway with the creation of a specially designed pair of shoes his very own interpretation of the galactic saga. 

Joining him are four local designers - Lynda Rahim, Bremen Wong, Azura Mazaruddin and Nawre – who have been meticulously selected based on their diverse and versatile portfolios and keeping with MATRADE’s YOUTH ENGAGEMENT program that recognizes the fashion expressions of emerging talents.  

Each of the four designers will showcase their best Star Wars inspired couture pieces at the gala that takes place at MATRADE Exhibition & Convention Centre (MECC), where we will be transported to a galaxy, far far away. #MYFW2015, #GalaxyRunway #StarWarsMY #darksidestyle #lightsidestyle 

In conjunction with this epic collaboration, members of the public are invited to Malaysia Fashion Week 2015 on November 6 & 7, Friday and Saturday, from 10am to 6pm (free entry). Both days promise a host of fun activities, games, and fashion events. 

The best dressed amongst the public will stand a  chance to view the Star Was inspired creations by participating designers with  exclusive invites to The Galaxy Runway inspired by Star Wars  show on 7 November, Saturday  at 6pm, MECC. #MYFW2015, #GalaxyRunway #StarWarsMY #darksidestyle #lightsidestyle 

There will be Fee Shuttle Service for Public as follows:

• Seri Pacific to MECC to Seri Pacific from 9:30am to 6:30pm every half hourly for all 4 days.
• KL Sentral to MECC to KL Sentral from 9:30am to 6:30pm every half hourly for all 4 days. Pick-up & drop-off location at ERL departure entrance opposite Axiata & Aloft KL.
