Overall it was a good experience to try the Venezuelan food and
also to get to know more about their country. Who know I might be going there
for holiday or work right?

I like the cachapas, the fresh corncake with cheese.
It was make on the spot something like pancake with corn floor a little sweet
and the cheese is salty. Another one is the empanada de pescado, the fish
empanadas.

ReplyDeleteWhat I love during festivals aside from the shows is the exhibit, like what you shared above, and it's a photo exhibit. Aside from that, is the food. Have you tasted all of those? Esp. the shrimp with tamarind sauce.

ReplyDeleteI only knew Venezuela from their gorgeous beauty queens. Good to see that they are also promoting their cuisine to the world. That tempting looking Guava Cake I want to eat right now.
ReplyDeleteThe Venezuelan Seafood cocktail looks like "Callos" in which I'd like to cook - the beef tripe. A similarity for Portuguese or Spaniards cuisine.
ReplyDeletewow, the food looks good. especially the roast beef caramel. price is pretty affordable too, considering the exchange rate for sgd/nut recently.
