it was a curation of curiosities and sights to behold, the season unearths a

It was just the right crowds that evening. We had space to roam
around and bit of time to check out some accessories and bags at Ted Baker Pavilion
Kuala Lumpur boutique before the show starts.

We then wondered into a world of curiosities with the sights of
botanical curations as Ted’s AW15 collection peeks inquisitiveness. From rich
jewel tones, shimmering eveningwear to romantic silhouettes adorned in rich
textured fabrics, the artful prints gave a nod of water colours and still life
scenes on linings and fabrics which highlighted luxurious craftsmanship on all
pieces of the collection.

Josh Kua graced the attendees with an exquisite performance
followed by a show stopping display of the latest AW15 Collection that featured
60s and 70s-inspired swing back coats and structured tunic dresses in touchable
luxe fabrics. Ted's standout styles of romantic print and gentle pleat gave
each piece a modern classics of salt and pepper culottes, boucle jackets and an
eye-catching checked cape.

The models strut the botanical runway which was inspired by the
palettes of the collection in rich burgundy, deep dark reds and earthy greens
that evolve into burnt orange and the lightest touch of pastels.

Gents were spotted with painterly florals and jacquards on knits,
polo collars, and statement blazers while Women’s wear prints caused a
spectacle of romance and radiance of gaze as layer upon layer of decadent
blooms.
I really like their collection, it's so classy and simple! I haven't heard of this designer before, he's really good.

ReplyDeleteI like the tux design. However, just a question about the pants. Is that really how it should look bunched up at the bottom near the shoes, or the pants were simply too long for the model?

ReplyDeleteI love the runway setup, it really went well with the colors of the collection. My favorite piece is that pink dress with a bow in the front, so dainty and chic!
