When Body Care Meets Fashion

A good skin makes a women has the confident and comfortable to show off her flawless skin. Well, recently NIVEA is running a nationwide collaboration with Zalora to the celebration of cut-out fashion.

Sometime I don’t have the confident to flaunt my skin because there are imperfections here and there. My major concerns are the dry, rough and darker skin tone on my elbow and knees. My arms and hand are becoming tanned, wrinkled and rough too due to sun exposure especially driving and stuck in traffic jam during hot sunny days. Plus I feel that I had a flabby arms and inner thigh. I’m sure some of have this concerns too.

I decided to take up the 14 days challenge using the NIVEA new Whitening & Firming range body care. Here I got a few products for me to try on and use. NIVEA Extra White Firming Body Serum, NIVEA Instant White Firming Body Serum, NIVEA Anti-Age Firming Body Serum, NIVEA Night White Firming Body Serum, NIVEA Extra White Firming Body Lotion and NIVEA Instant White Firming Body Lotion.

The Whitening & Firming range is an innovation to body care as it combines Vitamin C of 95% purity and Q10 in its formulation. As we know Vitamin C of 95% purity has the ability to repair dull and uneven skin caused by sun exposure. Q10 is a powerful skin’s own coenzyme found in every human cell that ensures energy supply for skin cell.

My favourite is the NIVEA Extra White Firming Body Serum. What I like about this new range of serum is that they are come with SPF55 UVA1/UVA2/UVB protection except the Night White Body Serum. UV protection is important for our skin fairness and also anti-aging. The major cause of skin aging is over sun exposure.

NIVEA Extra White Firming Body Serum – enriched with Q10 & camu camu for skin whitening and firming. I usually apply this serum all over my body twice a day after I shower. It does not leave any stickiness on my skin. I feel comfortable and pampered. For the first 7 days of consistently twice a day after shower I can on feel that my elbow and knees are getting smoother and moist. However the darker skin tone still unchanged.

It’s alright at least I see some improvements so I continue to use. After using this for 14 days I feel that my overall skin is softer, plump and hydrated. My knees skin tone became slightly lighter, by 1 shade and not really obvious. I think this takes time.

For firming effect I can only see it on my arms is more obvious. Maybe the skin on that area is more flabby and easier to see results. The rough skin on my elbow is improving. Overall I can see that NIVEA Extra White Firming Body Serum is working for me gradually. The effect and changes are not drastic but I can feel it. Usually serum is more intense or powerful than lotion. Of course I will choose the best for my skin and will continue to use it.

So now I am ready and confident to flaunt my skin and wear that cut out dress. I got this Something Borrowed cut out binded dress from Zalora for only RM95. I fit me perfectly. Now my skin is fairer I feel more comfortable to wear white because it’s complements each other.
