Ahoy! This was our road trip to Melaka for The Pirate Adventure @ Melaka Alive and Raya Open House over the
weekend. I still remembered back in April I was here for the Panglima Awang 5D Experience on this Bahtera Merdeka ship. And now there is
a new immersive indoor attraction that promises to engage all our five senses
and suspense from the beginning till the end of our journey in there.
Opening Speech by Mohd Nizar B Mohd Najib, Advisor to Nuevo Attraction & Destination |
The journey to Melaka was pleasant and it was a beautiful and
sunny Saturday morning when we arrived. The Pirate Adventure @ Melaka Alive
launch kicked start with the welcome speech by Mohd Nizar B Mohd Najib, Advisor
to Nuevo Attraction & Destination.

Mohd Najib and Y.Bhg Datuk Haji Khamis B Haji Abas, Pengurus Besar PERZIM.
Congratulations! Finally The Pirate Adventure is now opened and we were the
first few to inside and experience the exciting journey of the 5 senses as we
became a pirate for a day, navigating the seas of the Melaka Straits before
searching the dark and humid jungles for buried treasure.
Ready to be a pirate for a day |
Let’s start… there are 6 stages that we have to go through before
we could finally found the treasure at the last stage. The journey started with the battle
for the beach and our vessel then moved on to navigate the dark and humid
jungle. We passed by the prison and were scared by a prisoner in the cage while
scouring for out treasure.
The dark and humid jungle |
The prison |
t one stage we get to experience the motions and gusts of storms on the high seas with the aid of sophisticated technology. Are you dizzy???
Giant octopus attack |
When we exit the motion room there is a giant octopus ready to attack us. I
like the lighting around the octopus it was so futuristic.
Did we found our treasure??? |
Fantastic and finally
we make it through and arrived at stage 6 for the treasure. Plus check out the
merchandise, souvenirs and take a breather for some photos.

Overall, the Pirate Adventure @ Melaka Alive experience is one of
its unique. The whole environment is created with high technology effect. It’s
quite dark inside, some part I felt the humidity, coolness and eeriness.
We have been to the Deadman's Island, have you? |
There
are animal sound, sea breeze and screaming. I feel excited, scared, suspense
and many more. It managed to bring me into the world of pirate, a good
adventure and experience.
at Melaka Alive Raya Open House |
After the adventure we take a walk around the ship area and joined
their Raya Open House event. Jom makan…
I had lots of fun with friends at The Pirate Adventure @ Melaka Alive. It was a memorable experience and great day out. If you are planing to go this coming weekend or holiday, the tickets for the

ReplyDeleteYou are welcome. Maybe its time to visit Melaka again.
DeleteThis looks so fun! My kids would love this!
ReplyDeleteHope your kids and you have fun there.
DeleteWhat a nice place to take my kids to, although honestly, I might be more excited about it than they are, haha. I love pirates stuff!
ReplyDeleteHi May, its good activity to consider for family day out.
DeleteThis is an interesting place to go to. I'm not really a huge fan of pirate films but have always been interested in their history especially now that 'pirates' still exist but they're not exactly like the ones depicted in fictional stories. I really should visit Malaysia again and this time, I should go to Melaka.
ReplyDeleteHi Russ, hope to see you in Melaka soon. There are many more places you can go and do in Melaka.
DeleteThat looks so much fun! Haven't seen a park/attraction like that here in our country. I bet my kids would love to see something like this and experience how it is to be a pirate too :)
ReplyDeleteIt one of the 5D experience when you are inside. Hope you can visit Melaka Alive.
DeleteMelaka is one of the places on my bucket list to travel with my kids. Looks like you had tons of fun.
ReplyDeleteHope you can visit Malaysia soon, there are many more places in Malaysia that you can explore.
DeleteThis looks fun! I think my kids would really like to go somewhere like that. I like how you are actually walking through and interacting and not just seeing displays behind a glass.
ReplyDeleteIt is a fun place for family outing.
DeleteA Bahtera Merdeka 5D adventure! Now that sounds very interesting! I can't imagine all 5 senses being engaged, but I do sure think it's breathtaking and exciting.
ReplyDeleteAt first I can't imagine what is it like to be in the 5D adventure. After the tour then I can fully experience this.
DeleteI'm a Pirates of the Caribbean kind of person so this place sings to me haha. I love the costumes of the pirates and the quality and detailing of the props and sets. They didn't skimp on it, making the overall experience more exciting since the set looks real. I want to go!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHow far is Meleka from KL? I will be at Kuala Lumpur this Wed and how I wish to visit this place.
ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome place to be. Brings back the superb performance of Johnny Depp in The Pirates of the Carribean.
ReplyDeleteThat looks fun! Haha... This seems in time for Halloween festival~ I've never watch Pirates of the Carribean, but this looks like it's good for fans and non-fans~
ReplyDeleteThis gives me an idea when I go to Singapore again. I should spend some time in Malaysia and try the Pirates Adventure.
ReplyDeleteI eyeballed this attraction since reading it in your blog last week! Another reason to revisit Maacca - not that we really need one - the food is good enough reason to visit again again!!
ReplyDeleteI am not sure I am interested to visit this pirate attraction. But I do want to visit Melaka someday.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds and looks like a really fun attraction to experience. We have attractions similar to this however, it's often themed as a haunted house. This treasure hunting theme looks more exciting.
ReplyDeleteSuch an adventurous and fun place to be kid again us adult.
