Ending my July with something sweet and memorable. I am
not sure should I put this up on my blog or not but I bet some of you might
have noticed it when you flipped through Her World 55th Anniversary issue this month. Well, I was one of judges for Her World Beauty Awards 2015 together
with some of the well-known editors, writers and gurus in the beauty industry.
This is one of my memorable experiences and I am honored to be
selected as one of the judges. The email came in back in February and I accepted the offer. So the journey as beauty awards judge begins…
I collected boxes and boxes of
the beauty products from Blu Inc office, all in 2 trips. My car bonnet was full of
skincare, cosmetics, haircare, bodycare, nailcare, makeup tools, beauty
supplements and etc.
Well, I have almost all the nominees products in the magazine for test and review including facial and body treatments.
Yes, I am happy to see so many beauty products at home but at the
same time I asked myself how am I going to review all of them? Hmmm… so I passed
some of them to friends and family to try it and gave me their opinion or review about the products, as I am not able to do
all of them in 2 months. Certain products such as anti-acne skincare and
colored hair care which are not suitable for my skin or hair type I passed it
to others who is suitable for it to test the efficacy.
All these products came in the right time to occupy me when I am not able to
attend event for about 2 months. My company sent me for a 2 months intensive training
from March until April. I have to stay in the outstation and sometimes Klang Valley campus / training center during the training.
So every day after my training finished, I will stayed in my room and immersed myself with these products. It's either playing with the color cosmetics, trying out the skincare or using different hair care products every week. I even let my
roomates to try it and asked their opinion.
I am glad that Her World published the Beauty Awards 2015 results in their 55th Anniversary issues. Kudos!!! As a beauty blogger, of
course I love to try new products and share my opinions. This is a
milestone plus great experience.

Maybe in my next post I will share some of my old memories and
photos with you. I was in Her World 50th Anniversary magazine cover 5 years ago.
It’s true, I need to dig out my magazine collection and show it to you. Well, that time I am not a
blogger yet… time flies huh, 5 years just past like that. Day in day out we are so
busy with what is urgent but may not be important in our life.

I asked myself what have I achieved in
the last 5 years and what do I see myself in the next 5 years? How about you? Do you plan your future? It's time
to wake up and reorganize my priorities in life.
