Shop & Eat @ Newly Refreshed 2nd Floor East Berjaya Times Square, KL

Few weeks ago, we explored the newly refreshed 2^nd Floor East @ Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur. The overall outlook of this revitalized area was indeed impressive and modern with contemporary décor. It has a wider walkway, brighter lighting and consists of a mix of chic retailers and international cuisines.

Nasi lemak, Pineapple Fried Rice @ 2nd Floor East Berjaya Times Square, KL

We spent almost half day exploring most of the outlets, shopping and trying out some of the restaurants there from morning till late afternoon. 

 MJ Cafe @ 2nd Floor East Berjaya Times Square, KL

I had my early lunch at the MJ Café that serves good and reasonable pricing local and that food. We tried quite a few types of their dishes such as nasi lemak, mee rebus, pecal lele, tom yam soup, pineapple fried rice, asam fish, brownie, toast with kaya and also their signature 3 Layer Tea.

Marutama Ramen @ 2nd Floor East Berjaya Times Square, KL

If you enjoy trying new restaurant on your next trip to Berjaya Times Square head over to 2^nd Floor East because they have quite a good selection of restaurants such as Marutama Ramen for authentic Japanese ramen, YiCha Café for that special signature Grass Jelly Milk Tea and Kafe Vietnam for the best Vietnamese cuisine in town. 

Marutama Ramen & Aka Ramen @ 2nd Floor East Berjaya Times Square, KL

We tried the Marutama Ramen and Aka Ramen, I prefer the signature Marutama Ramen with chicken broth.

Sumo Sandwich @ 2nd Floor East Berjaya Times Square, KL

Oh yes, we also stop over at the Sumo Sandwich for a healthy and delightful twist on big and mini sandwiches. There are 4 steps to complete your order first choose your bun, filling, sauce and drinks.

This is Malaysia’s first Japanese Fusion sandwich outlet. Price is reasonable range from RM9.90 to RM14.90 per set with big portion of 7 inches long sandwich and a medium size drinks. I love their Chicken Katsu with cheese sandwich and their best seller is the soft shell crab sandwich.

Big Spoon @2nd Floor East Berjaya Times Square, KL

For Thai food enthusiast will find the infamous Boat Noodle located at the 2nd Floor East as well and for a twist, food hunters can try out Big Spoon noodles and their signature Dumplings with House Special Sauce.

Redeye Korean Accessories @ 2nd Floor East Berjaya Times Square, KL

After a series of food tasting, we decided to explore the retails outlets and fashion essential stores such as Redeye Korean Accessories, Shoe's Bar, Niichi, The Blues and Kor Por Or. I bought a few working blouses from Niichi and shoes from Redeye.

For the young and the young at heart you will be thrilled at Teddy Farm and Choc Boutique as a wide array of teddy bears, plushies and chocolates are on display for all to own.

RichBole @ 2nd Floor East Berjaya Times Square, KL

After shopping we had tea at the RichBole by PappaRich like kopitiam food. Then stop over for KKuldak, Korean honey chicken ball in five different flavours. I had the spicy honey crispy chicken balls with toppoki and kimchi fries. I like the sweet and spicy snacks. I wish that they could serve this in the cinema.

KKULDAK @ 2nd Floor East, Berjaya Times Square, KL

Overall, I had a great time exploring this new area, trying the some of the new F&B outlets and also shopping. The newly refreshed area is more shopper friendly and provides more choices for us especially the food outlets.
