Tonight we had dinner at one of his favourite and usual restaurants,
Chili’s. I decided to order the Ramadan Special Combos because it’s comes it’s worth
it and available for a limited time only.
The Ramadan Special Combos come with 1 soup or salad, 1 main
course and 1 scoop of vanilla ice-cream. Chili’s is quite generous with their food
portions, the main course is the same as the ala-carte order and even the salad
is satisfying.
For main we ordered the Southwestern Grilled Lamb and Fire-Grilled
Chicken & Portobello. Both of us decide to go for salad instead of the soup;
I had the House Salad with Citrus-Balsamic Vinaigrette and his was the
Avocado-Ranch dressing. Our combo is priced at RM41.95 each.
Chili's House Salad with citrus balsamic vinaigrette |
The House Salad, lots of fresh greens topped with crispy tortilla strips,
tomatoes and cheese with citrus balsamic vinaigrette. The portion is quite big.
There are 6 types of dressing
for you to choose such as thousand island, honey mustard, oil & vinegar,
ranch, avocado ranch and citrus balsamic vinaigrette. When I finished my salad
I am already three quarter full. Oh I still have my main course…
Southwestern Grilled Lamb Combo |
My Southwestern Grilled Lamb is quite healthy actually, the
grilled lamb with black pepper, broccoli and mashed potatoes. I should have asked
my mashed potatoes without dressing. The lamb marination was light with black pepper,
I like it because it healthier and I can taste the meat juiciness.
Fire-Grilled Chicken & Portobello |
His Fire-Grilled Chicken & Portobello comes with 2 slices of
chicken breasts with Portobello with zesty peppercorn sauce and mashed potatoes
with beef bacon on the side and broccoli.
Vanilla ice-cream |
Last but not least, end the meal with a scoop of Vanilla ice-cream
yummsss. I am so full. Overall, for that price and the portion is value for
money.
Chili’s Ramadan Special |
There are few more combos available on Chili’s Ramadan Special to
suit everyone taste bud such as Country Fried Chicken, Mushroom-Swiss Burger,
Firecracker Fish Fillet, Quesadilla Explosion Salad, Fish & Chips and
Grilled Salmon with Garlic Butter & Herbs. Some of the combos are priced at
RM35.95 and some RM41.95.
