Selamat Menyambut Bulan Ramadhan! Hey, do we have any meat or steak lover
here? A few days ago, we were at Me’nate Steak Hub at Starpac Point, Setapak
for the their Ramadan Special Preview. Initially I thought they are going to
serve beef but then it turn out they have lamb and it was really good. That
evening we had a feast and there were lots and lots of meat...
Heavenly Lamb Set, RM300 per set for 4-6 person sharing |
Heavenly Lamb Set, RM300 per set for 4-6 person
That night, our dinner started with the Heavenly Lamb Set that is perfect
for sharing 4 to 6 person sharing. This set is great for buka puasa because it
has 2 pieces of chuncky lamb shoulder the portion is quite huge and comes with 3 types
of aromatic and flavorful rice which is biryani rice, tomato rice and dal rice.
I would give 2 thumbs up for their grilled lamb, I love the tenderness on the
inside and well marinated on the outside. Me’nate Steak Hub is very generous with
their portion.
Heavenly Beef Set, RM350 per set for 4-6 person sharing |
The lamb really complements the rice, of all the 3 types of rice served
I still prefer the biryani rice. For me the lamb taste good with the rice
however for some find it a bit dry and they would prefer some gravy to go with
the lamb or the rice.
The Heavenly Lamb Set also comes with complementary Mix Salad,
Soup of the Day, Mix Fruits and Kurma (dates). There are a few types of hot or
cold drinks and it’s free flow.
By the way, for those who prefer beef you can choose the Heavenly
Beef Set priced at RM350 per set that comes with a huge chunk of roast beef and
the rest of it are the same.
We also tried their Group Steak with minimum 2 person per order. They
have 4 types of set.
Set A, RM75 per person |
Set A, RM75 per person
Set A is their signature set you get a mixture of beef and lamb. The
price is reasonable for the portion and the quality of their meat and cooking.
There are a generous portion of angus, beef ribs lamb ribs or ranghost, pasta
olio aglio and mix salad.
Set B, RM75 per person |
Set B, RM75 per person
Ohlala! Set B is my favourite and I don’t eat beef so this is my
ultimate choice. It comes with a mini lamb shank, lamb ribs, lamb rack or lion,
lamb syabu, pasta olio aglio and mix salad. I still thinking of their lamb
shank, they said they slow cooked it for many hours just to get the flavour and
keep the meat tender on the inside. I always love to eat lamb, mekkkk….
Set C, RM100 per person |
Set C, RM100 per person
For those who don’t eat red meat or prefer something light then Set
C is your choice. It comes with salmon, mussel, king prawn, scallop or crab
meat, pasta olio aglio and mix salad.
Set D, RM150 per person |
Set D, RM150 per person
The Set D is the most expensive and also the most tempting that
comes with wagyu beef, wagyu beef ribs, pasta olio aglio and mix salad. Some
said the wagyu beef just melt in their mouth. And some really enjoy the wagyu
beef ribs, the meat its soft and juicy with soft rib bones.
Mix Salad @ Me'nate Steak Hub |
All the set comes with the complimentary Kurma (dates), fruits,
soup of the day, rice of the day (biryani rice, tomato rice or dal rice) and
the hot or cold drinks are free flow. Well, among all the set I think most people will go for the Set A,
B or D. As for myself I will go back for the Set B.
Matsusaka Wagyu RM4800 per bag |
Overall, for the quality of
the meat, portion and cooking that they served I feel that their price is
reasonable. For some you might find it on the high side but think of it a good
cut of meat is not cheap. We know there are many types and gred of meat, those
top of the range beef cuts are jaw dropping. For example, I saw the Matsusaka
Wagyu is RM4800 per kg. That piece of cut in the photo above is RM1008. Wahhh!!!
