A Day Out @ Quill City Mall

Sometimes after negotiating the hustle and bustle of our daily routine at work, it is nice to just let loose and unwind to set out to that “go to” place where I can forget the undulating pressures of the “nine to five” for some well-deserved rest or recreation. And yes! I need retail therapy and I was privileged to experience a day of “Getting Styled”courtesy of Quill City Mall.

It was fun day out with some bloggers and media friends. We had a great shopping experience and were also treated to a styling spree with the opportunity to admire and try out apparel from the mall’s retail outlets which include, among others, NEXT outlet from the United Kingdom, Rockport, Ethnic Sense and Tomaz Shoes. We also learnt how to design our own DIY bracelets at Lowanna.

We started our activities with some shopping at the NEXT outlet then moved to Rockport outlet to get more information and tips about how to choose the right pair of shoes.

Then we were spoiled with a hair treatment at A-Saloon, I did the AQUA Intensive hair treatment for my dry and damaged hair. After that was the facial treatment demo by Derma Master, showcasing the myriad of options available to us who not only get their shopping done but also tend to our beauty essentials and cosmetic needs as well. We were also treated to a hand massage therapy by The Face Shop.

After all the styling and shopping, it’s time to sit down, relax and enjoy our cuppa. Finally all done, we had some refreshments at Caffe Roma that serves Italian food at a reasonable prices and cozy environment.

Golden Screen Cinemas showcases ten-screen cinema halls, one of the THX hall featuring Dolby ATMOS surround sound system. The mall features NEXT, the first city centre outlet offering women and children wear, the first Hamleys store in the City Centre which is also the second in Malaysia, Red Lobster, LongHorn Steakhouse, Original Classics and Best Denki.

On top of that, the mall has the largest Daiso in City Centre as well as Food Junction for foodies. Other upcoming tenants includes On The 6th and K-Net. Located on the 6th floor, this tenant houses a one-stop lifestyle and entertainment centre which caters to all entertainment needs for all to socialise, sing or just to chill. Celebrity Fitness, a recognized fitness centre will also be opening its doors in September.
