Pyjamas, Flares, Soft Layers: Bohemian City Spirit @ H&M

There’s a new bohemian attitude for spring at H&M, with relaxed shirts and dresses worn with casual denim, perfect for the city streets. The campaign featuring supermodel Daria Werbowy launched in stores on 26 March 2015 with music sung by Malaysia’s very own beloved singer & songwriter Yuna, who recorded a cover of the song “Strawberry Letter 23".

Shirts are the essential of the season, and look great with the sleeves rolled and worn with high-waist flared jeans. Pyjamas are a key inspiration, both for their easy air, and the fluidity of silk. Printed pyjama sets are worn together, or styled separately for a versatile look.

Be clever with layering, with shirts worn over dresses like a spring jacket, and flowing dresses worn over soft pants. It’s all about the pieces that can be mixed and matched to wear as the mood takes you, like the denim jacket that’s like an old favourite, the floating sun top with a handkerchief hem, or the shorts with a vibrant floral print.

Suede loafers add to the informal mood, while long belts are both functional and decorative. High-heeled sandals quickly take the look from day to night.

“Everyone loves the relaxed look, and this spring it’s easy to achieve at H&M. Pyjamas are fun to wear in the city, while shirts, denim flares and flowing dresses are perfect all season long,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor at H&M.
