Thanks God Its Friday! I am looking forward to my weekend after a long challenging week. Finally it’s time to chill and indulge at KL’s Longest Champagne Brunch in town - Shook! Mad Hatter’s Sunday Champagne Brunch @ Feast Village, Starhill Gallery, Kuala Lumpur, formerly known for its popular thematic Masquerade Champagne brunch.

Written by Lewis Caroll in 1865, Alice in Wonderland is an English novel which had become a popular cultural and literature influencer. So this year Shook! reintroduce it’s weekly exciting event with an all new Alice in Wonderland inspired theme by transform its entire restaurant, including the Shook! Lounge, into a one-of-a-kind Wonderland.

As I entered I was greeted by the Mad Hatter himself, and step through the giant clock archway into a unique experience.  There will be life-sized props of stacked cakes, teapots and books, as well as a water fountain garden area, in resemblance of the iconic Queen’s Garden plus the giant storybook set.

The exciting Mad Hatter’s Sunday Champagne Brunch buffet spread every Sunday is created by Executive Chef Matthew Ona, the menu will focus on quirkiness and fun recipes especially in the Dessert Bar, while retaining the quality of fine dining Shook! known for.

Shook! is an open-kitchen concept restaurant that serves Japanese, Chinese, Western Grill and Italian cuisines. You can expect to find Whole Marinated Darling Lamb Carcass and Cumberland Sausage Rope at the live action carvery station.

Alice in Wonderland Dessert Bar

Keeping in line with the Alice in Wonderland theme, the Dessert Bar (decorated with white fences) at Shook! will feature a variation of themed desserts, such as Red Velvet Pillows, Pot Au Chocolate, Hatter Cake Pops, and a pink chocolate fountain with fruits and homemade marshmallows.

Shook! Mad Hatter Sunday Champagne Brunch priced at RM268++ per person with free-flowing Moet & Chandon Champagne. There is also a food only option at RM168++ per person.
