The contemporary high street British fashion label, Oasis has finally opened its first standalone boutique in the popular suburban shopping mall in Bandar Utama. Renowned for its stylish and innovative edge, the fashion label covers every look and wardrobe collection for every occasion in the diary be it straight off the runway inspired to chic daywear, classy vintage numbers, flattering and feminine dresses, stunning evening wear and luxurious leather, whilst not forgetting accessories as well as a large selection of trendy and in season footwear.

Loved by celebrities and stylists alike, Oasis just celebrated its 20th birthday and operates in over 300 stores in the UK and the Republic of Ireland as well as in 79 stores across 19 countries including Asia, the Middle East and Russia.

Staying true to its All The Fun At The Fair theme of its Autumn / Winter 2014 season, the boutique’s façade i certainly a standout with its bright, bold and quirky hues that embodies the essence of the free spiritedbrand. Inspired by carousels, dodgems and waltzers, the storefront brings to mind an inviting entrance to the fair that is at once alluring, fun and mysterious.

The rose pink down light gives a general wash of ambience and the ceiling to floor glass window simulating drawn black and white striped stage curtains add an intriguing sense of theatricality and romantic surrealism.

The interior of the boutique is spacious and brightly lit with the extensive use of white wooden cabinets and backdrops. The brand logo is creatively displayed at eye level behind the counter. Bold in red metal, letters of the logo resemble cleverly designed vintage everyday items featuring a clock, a telephone, S shaped bird stands and a tasseled table lamp, giving it a reinvented retro feel.

A visual creative of a carousel stands in the middle of the store emphasizing the playfulness of this season’s collection while merchandises are strategically placed according to wardrobe occasion to maximize optimal viewing pleasure and shopping convenience. The glossy wooden laminated flooring puts a classy finishing touch to the store.

Oasis’s Autumn/Winter 2014 collection boasts an essential backdrop of grey in every shade from stone, charcoal, slate and silver and is highlighted with high-octane pops of color, contrasting textures and luxurious fabrics. Seasonal colors such as cherry reds, seville marmalades, almond pinks, rich raisins and sweet ribenas contrast beautifully with the shades of grey illuminating the feminine within.
