Strongbow Apple Ciders - Real Finds Real

Life is more enjoyable and unpretentious when we chill and chat with friends over some apple ciders and light food. Yeah! Last Wednesday was a chill-out and catch-up day for me and friends while we were sampling the Strongbow Apple Ciders new variants - Strongbow Apple Ciders Gold, Strongbow Apple Ciders Honey and Strongbow Apple Ciders Elderflower at the 31 Sqaure at Sunway Damansara. 

It was a very casual party with an al-fresco dining, live band and music. We started with the Strongbow Apple Cider Original.

Then move on to the new variants after Guinness Anchor Berhad (GAB) launched the 3 new variants. 

Strongbow Apple Ciders New Variants Launch @ 31 Square, Sunway Damansara

I like the crisp and refreshing flavour of Strongbow Apple Ciders and it’s made from the real fresh apples for their cider recipes. 

That evening I tried all the Strongbow Apple Ciders 3 new variants – Gold, Honey & Elderflower. So do you want to know how does it taste like and which one I like the most? 

Strongbow Apple Ciders Gold

Strongbow Apple Ciders Gold is the first one I tried out of these three variants. Well to me the Gold is slightly stronger or bolder taste than the original one. Perhaps guys would like the Gold variant more as it has a hint of bittersweet apples that’s gives more kick.

Strongbow Apple Ciders Honey

The Strongbow Apple Ciders Honey is one of the easy going drinks for ladies. It’s sweet and pleasant with mild honey and fruity aroma. The honey is good to pair it with food or snacks or can also drink it by itself. The whole family would enjoy this variant.

Strongbow Apple Ciders Elderflower

Well, last but not least Strongbow Apple Ciders Elderflower is my favourite among the 3 new variants. Not only the variant name Elderflower capture my attention but also the sweet floral elderflower aroma and the mild infused citrus (lime) taste with hints of Muscat and litchi fruits. The Elderflower has a mixture of mild fruity flavour and floral scent. It’s light and refreshing just the way I like it.

Overall, with these 3 new variants now happy hour is more fun and chat is more enjoyable because we have more choices of flavour. Hey! Strongbow Apple Ciders is also excellent for any occasion from day to night as it is a perfect crisp and refreshing drink on a hot sunny day, during friends and family gathering, weekend barbeque, girls’ slumber parties, events and dinners. 

The Perfect Serve – Strongbow Apple Ciders

During the launch event I also learned the way to fully enjoy Strongbow Apple Ciders. Based on my knowledge, the bottle should be chilled to around 3° to 4°Celcius then follow these 3 steps to get a ‘The Perfect Serve’

1. First, fill a Strongbow glass with approximately 1/3 of ice cubes;

2. Take a chilled bottle of Strongbow or Strongbow draught and pour over ice;

3. Serve on a Strongbow coaster and present the bottle alongside.

Actually this is a mild alcoholic drink, you can barely feel it. The Strongbow Apple Ciders Gold and Strongbow Apple Ciders Honey contain 5% alcohol per volume (ABV), while the Strongbow Apple Ciders Elderflower contains 4.5% ABV. It comes in 330ml pint bottle and will be available in early December 2014. Do try it out and let me know which one is your favourite or you like all of them :D
