Well this is the latest partnership of OLDTOWN White Coffee with MyKuali. Many of us are crazy of MyKuali Penang White Curry instant noodles since it was introduced in May 2013. It has won numerous accolades and also rated as the Top 1 Best Instant Noodle of All Time 2014 by The Ramen Rater. Initially it was very hard to get hold of this instant noodle because it was always out of stock.

If you are wondering what is so special about the new OLDTOWN White Curry Series then you have to try it to know it. You get the best of both, OLDTOWN’s in-house special soup base and noodles with MyKuali’s White Curry paste.

Let’s eat! Savour a bowl of aromatic White Curry Pan Mee with the Peanut White Freezy nom nom nom. I can feel the spices especially the cloves kicking in, that is what I love when slurping my favourite noodles then let the creamy Peanut White Freezy soothe and cool me down.

The OLDTOWN White Curry series soup base is on a thicker side compared to the normal curry laksa, of course it is rich, creamy and spicy. If you have tried the MyKuali Penang White Curry instant noodle you will know, they use the same curry paste. Each bowl comes with bouncy fish balls, tau pok, deep fried bean curd sheet, some long beans and bean sprouts.

Out of the 5 types of noodles available – Mee, Meehoon, Macaroni, Pan Mee and Hor Fun; pan mee is my favourite. Not only that it has additional ingredients like mushrooms and deep fried anchovies but also the pan mee noodles is smooth, springy and specially made in house.

The rest of the noodle are good too, some of my friends prefer the Hor Fun because they find that OLDTOWN White Coffee Hor Fun is smoother than others. Well, you should try the White Curry macaroni also, it’s so fusion and you hardly get this outside. For those who love macaroni I am sure this variant will make them happy.

White Curry Fish Balls RM3.90

There is also a new Side Dish of White Curry Fish Balls for only RM 3.90 if you prefer a lighter meal or as a meal accompaniment. It great to eat it by itself or  with rice, toast or bread.

Grab a Peanut White Freezy to cool down after the hot and spicy noodle. This is a new drink made available just for the White Curry Series, it is soya based peanut drink topped off with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. Love the cooling and creamy plus the soft vanilla ice cream; perfect ending to a bowl of White Curry noodles. Peanut White Freezy is available as an Add-On for only RM4.60 and Ala Carte is RM 7.80.
