Opps this was a Terrybly Makeup Workshop organized by By Terry Malaysia at KENS Bangsar Shopping Centre. Hey don’t get me wrong By Terry makeup products are awesome and the quality is superb. Especially their Baume de Rose much-loved lip balm has now been given the Rose Infernale full -colour treatment. I am honored to meet By Terry International Makeup Artist & Trainer, Sophie Kilian flew all the way from France to show us the Give Me 5 makeup as well as being her model during the workshop.

Ok let’s start with the Terrybly Makeup Workshop, that day i tried quite a lots of By Terry makeup and skincare as well. However, the highlight was the Give Me 5 makeup concept. It’s a fast yet result oriented makeup steps that consist of 5 By Terry key products, 5 quick and easy steps and just take 5 minutes to complete the look. I think this is a brilliant idea for urban, sophisticated and chic women. We are always in the rush and at the same time must look good and calm. So Give Me 5.

Skin Prep

Skin Prep: I was honored to be Sophie’s model. She removed my makeup using By Terry Purete De Rose Refreshing Cleansing Gel, RM189, 125ml. This cleanser is very mild and delicate. Then gently apply a thin layer of Crème De Rose Nutri Lift Comfort Cream, RM359 30ml. Followed by primer Cellularose Brightening CC Lumi Serum, RM329 30ml. Now I am ready for Give Me 5.

Step 1 – Light Expert Perfecting Foundation Brush, RM239 17.5g

Using the Light Expert Perfecting Foundation Brush to even up my skin tone, plumped up the skin and covers the imperfection. This is a one click foundation stick that comes with brush for convenient.

This is a MUST HAVE, yes I mean it. The moment the lip balm touches my lips I can feel the lush of moisture yet it’s not sticky. Not only it helps to moisturize the lips it also plumped up the lips thus reducing the lines on my lips. Sophie’s tips, apply the lip balm then continue with other makeup. When the makeup is done, the lips are plump and moist, ready for lipcolor.
