New skincare brand in Malaysia from Japan! Before I started to talk about this skincare series, how many of us know about Black Silica? What is the benefit of Black Silica for our skin and health? This is also the question that was running in my head before I started trying it a few weeks ago. Black Silica Salt Skincare is the one and only skincare product using Black Silica as their main ingredient.
Mount Hiyama, Kaminokini, Hokkaido, Japan |
Black Silica originates in the mountain of Hiyama the Kaminokuni region of Hokkaido Japan and was formed during the very beginnings of life at the bottom of the ocean. It has been recognized as one of the world rare natural ores and is often referred as “phantom ore” in Japan due to its scarcity. Black Silica is acclaimed to contain many healing attributes which Japan feel it can save the earth.
Black Silica - phantom ore |
The Black Silica increase our body core temperature that helps to improve blood circulation and metabolisme for overall health improvements, rejuvenation, relaxation and deeper sleep. It also emanates infrared rays and negative ion that can boost or skin and body immune system. Helps skin detoxification and promotes skin elasticity, radiance and purity.
As you know I have dehydrated skin, so normal soap will cause my skin to be very dry or even flaky. However, after using this Facial Soap my skin don’t feel any tightness, dryness or itchiness after wash. It helps to clear away all the impurities and access sebum (on my T-zone).
Lather the Black Silica Salt Facial Soap using the net pouch |
What is so special about this facial soap? As you can see the Facial Soap comes with a light green net pouch. The net is to help us to lather the soap and create more foam. When I wash my face every morning and evening I can feel that the fluffy, soft and lots of foams massaging my face.
After I rinse my face with room temperature water, I feel so fresh and clean. My skin is smooth and comfortable. The soap contains no fragrance it has a very mild of natural ingredient scents.
Usage: Use twice a day – morning and evening. Lather the soap with water using the net and massage it on the face and rinse with water.

The Facial Esthe is like 2 in 1 facial scrub and mask. The texture is a bit rough because it contains the natural fine salt. The color is dark grey. The scent is mild rock and salt, to me it natural and bearable. I tried to taste it, oppss it salty of course… hehehe.
Facial Esthe texture and color |
Initially, when I started using this Facial Esthe I felt that it was a bit drying and harsh for my skin then I realized I use the wrong way. I didn’t wet my face before applying the Facial Esthe on my and its harsh on dry skin.
Please take note this is the correct way to use Facial Esthe:
1. After cleansing your face with the Facial Soap, leave the skin wet.
2. Apply a thin layer of Facial Esthe overall the face and neck. Gently massage, when the salt contact with water it will melt and then became thick fluid.
3. It is optional, you can rinse it immediately or leave it for few seconds as mask. Remember only leave it for a few seconds not too long. Please do not wait till the Facial Esthe dried up on your face. It might be too drying.

When the salt melts there is mild heat and tingling sensation. If you have open wound you might feel pain because it contains salt. It helps to removes dead skin cell are all gone therefore my skin looks brighter and more translucent. The natural heat from Black Silica helps to promote skin metabolism and blood circulation.
It helps to detox the skin and also the salt has the properties anti bacteria. This Facial Esthe is very suitable for those with acne and problematic skin. When I have 1 or 2 pimples, I apply a little bit of Facial Esthe on the spot and leave it overnight. The next day either the pimples pop or subside.
I saw some testimonials, the users with massive or severe acne after using this products for 6 months their acne reduced and the scars also became lighter.

After Facial Esthe, wipe the skin dry and apply the Natural Skin Water with cotton pad. This is not any ordinary water, it is slightly acidic mineral Ion Water from Mount Fuji, Japan best for skin use. It has a slight cooling and refreshing feeling.
The Natural Skin Water helps to balance skin hydration. Natural Skin Water is additive-free product and its suitable for acne and sensitive skin users also.
This Natural Skin Water can helps to boost the skin metabolism, its blended with nano placenta that can be expected to improve metabolic function and amino acids that are constituents of the skin, mainly ceramide is a natural moisturizing factor. I like the soothing, moisturizing and comfort effect.
Overall, Black Silica Salt Skincare ultimate strength is able to boost the skin metabolism and blood circulation. It is 100% manufacture, package, imported from Japan. It’s is most suit for acne skin, howver those with dry, combination and normal skin like me might have to use the Facial Esthe only 2 a week, not everyday. For those with acne you might able to see the effect better.
Please take note, it has detox effects too so for some users you may experience some breakout on the first few days. After a week it should be ok, if you experience breakouts longer than that you might need to check.
