Review: Mary Quant Smoo Make Powder Foundation

What are your makeup essentials? For me the must have are eyeliner, eyebrow color, powder foundation and lipstick / lip gloss. Powder foundation is a must or essential makeup item for me when I travel. When I travel I try to bring only those essential items with me. Just the powder foundation will do, the liquid foundation, loose powder and compact powder can leave it at home. I used the Mary Quant Smoo Make Powder Foundation on my recent trip to Vietnam.

This cute black daisy symbol is not foreign to me, I have attended Mary Quant Beauty Workshops before and I have tried a few of their cosmetics products. This is one of the cosmetics brand that allow us to be free and be ourselves, explore the creativity and unleash our own style. 

Powder foundation is unlike loose powder it has a better coverage and long lasting effect. It helps to even out my skin tone at the same time covers my imperfections. As you know I have dry and dehydrated skin so some powder foundation might look flaky or too powderish or too white like Chinese opera as if the makeup is like floating on my skin… ewww!

Before & After using Mary Quant Smoo Make Powder Foundation 

Well, I have been using this Mary Quant Smoo Make Powder Foundation on my recent Da Nang trip. The shade I’m using is 0-40 (natural) I like this shade, it just blends well into my skin tone and gives a smooth flawless finishing. Smoo Make is available in 8 shades for you to choose from.

I find that my make up last longer and I do not have to use concealer to cover my dark eye circles or some pimples scars on my face. Just apply the Smoo Make together with some of my colors cosmetics I am ready to go! I like it quick, simple and last the whole day.

Smoo Make Powder Foundation is suitable for all skin type even on my dry skin it looks natural. The moist and subtly maneuvers light and give the 3D effect to our skin. It gives a flawless, radiant and good coverage, even without loose powder or pressed powder my skin looks radiant all day. I just have to touch up a bit on the T-Zone area at the afternoon.

For a better effect or results use Mary Quant Smoo Puff to apply the powder foundation.

Usage: After Lotion, Milk Lotion, and makeup base, apply adequate amount to face with a puff, smoothing evenly.
