Celebrating
the spirit of unity, family and thanksgiving during mid-autumn festival with the
Traditions of Moon Cake Making by Chef David Yeoh under the supervision of
Chief Executive Chef Tee, made it a significant and meaningful event through
his artistic demonstration of mooncake making as a the long-preserved
tradition. The event was organized by the Acmar Group’s Klang Executive Club
(KEC) at at Toh Yuen Chinese Restaurant.
According
to Chef Tee, the Snow Skin Dragon Fruits mooncake is the best-seller at Toh
Yuen, among mooncake lovers. Snow skin mooncake is a non-baked mooncake which
is commonly eaten cold and fresh. It has elastic, chewy and soft skin. Other
mooncakes such as the famously known, Red Bean Moon Cake, Lotus Seed Single
Yolk (yolk represents the full moon) and other popular choices are sold from
RM10.50 (per head) till RM 66.00 for a box set.
KEC’s
Toh Yuen Restaurant that serves authentic Cantonese specialities, Chief
Executive Chef Tee prepared a scrumptious array of dishes that embodies the
Mid-Autumn festival, highlighting the momentous cultural experience with the
mooncake making demonstration.
The
Klang Executive Club, known to be the established sports and leisure venue at
Bandar Baru Klang, offers culinary delights to residents in and around Klang
Valley; especially at its Toh Yuen Chinese restaurant with the talented Chef
Tee overseeing preparation of authentic Chinese recipes, wedding receptions or
