Interview with Carla Soong - Changing Skin Destiny

It was a pleasant morning to have an interview with Carla Soong, model, celebrity, mother or two and loyal SK-II user. Carla turned up with a casual outfit and very minimum makeup looking radiant and fresh. I could not stop admiring her flawless skin and her slim silhouette. Well, it’s more like a chat session because Carla is quite a cheerful and friendly person. She shared a lot about her career family and her beauty regimen.

Well, Carla Soong definitely has a busy schedule every day; juggling her time in between family, children, career and social life. So let’s check out what is her priority, how she manages her time and also how she took charge of her skin destiny when she started using SK-II years ago; the transformation of her skin since then and Carla’s skincare tips.

Since when you started using SK-II and how you get to know about SK-II?

I started using SK-II since four years ago when SK-II approached me. Well, since then, I keep using it until now. With my busy schedule I don’t have the time to go for facial however my skin still in good condition.

What SK-II skincare range are you using currently?

I use Cellumunation and Stempower range; Cellumination for day to prevent the sun damage and Stempower at night for anti-aging and moisturizing. Facial Treatment essence is a must. 

How many SK-II products did you use every day?

Wow! a lot actually till I lost count. It’s like a competition how many bottle of SK-II you have on your dressing table. Well, I use full range of SK-II products starting from morning till night. I just learned that we can use more than 3 or 4 essence at the same time. It not too much because every essence caters for different needs.

What are the transformations after you using SK-II?

Well, before I use SK-II my skin is very problematic, I have very sensitive skin, oily inside and dry on the surface. I have to be very careful when choosing my skincare products to prevent breakout or peeling. After I use SK-II my skin became more balance and skin is not my major concern or problem anymore.

How long after you start using SK-II you see this difference?

About 3 to 6 months times. After I attended a lot of SK-II event and launches I also learned from the product specialist and speakers that why Facial Treatment Essence is important. It actually balance our skin water oil ratio, so when our skin is balance its healthy then our skin will be able to absorb all the nutrients that we apply on our skin. Facial Treatment Essence gives us a good foundation for healthy skin.

Do you like sport? How do you incorporate SK-II products in it?

I like sports activities and usually I go to gym for classes. The only outdoor sport that I like is skiing. I go skiing with my husband and some friends every year and of course when I travel I will carry my SK-II products with me.

What makes you choose SK-II and continue to use it until now?

SK-II is a reputable and well-known brand, I went for my skin analysis, try out the products and since then I never look back.

Do you have any beauty tips?

Besides skincare lifestyle also play a very important part in our skin. Sometimes lack of sleep, tires, stressed and hormone changes will affect our skin. No matter how good or how expensive the skincare that we use but if we smoke, party, drink and stay up late our skin will not look good as well.

Do you have any skin regimen tips?

We have to put in effort and time to look good there is nothing comes easy. If I have time, I like to do face massage after I applied my essence. It very simple just gently pull upward from jawline.

What is your motivation to maintain your youthful look and body even after giving birth?

Keep myself busy with family, career and social life are the motivations for me to look good. Well, I know that I will meet a lot of people when I go out therefore I would like to look good. That is the motivation for me to workout and spent time taking care of image.
