or are shying away from friend because you are not confident. Well, appreciate what
God has given to you and try to enhance it. Try to make yourself look good and then
you will feel great and more confident. Do you want beauty tips to look
gorgeous this Spring? Ok, here are some Beauty Tips to have
a Brighter, Younger & Luminous Skin.
Beauty Tips to have a Brighter, Younger and More Luminous Skin
1. Sleep on a silk pillowcase
Most of us spend 7 to 8 hours every night sleeping in a position
that will crease our skin. And virtually everyone sleeps on cotton pillowcases,
which tugs at the delicate parts of the face and neck while you sleep, causing
permanent lines. Although it may seem like an indulgence, switching to silk
pillowcases helps minimise friction on your skin, so you don’t wake up with
fine lines on your face. Also, because silk is less absorbent than cotton, it
doesn’t absorb moisture from your skin.
2. Exfoliate twice a week
Many of us tend to neglect this step. Dead cells build up on the
skin’s surface, causing dullness and roughness. Twice a week, after cleansing,
exfoliate your face and neck with a mild facial scrub. This helps slough off
the dead skin cells, and promotes cell turnover too. Remember to choose a
facial scrub that contains ultra-fine beads, and don’t rub your face
vigorously! Gentle, circular movements will suffice.
3. Avoid taking long, hot showers
It feels great to stand under a hot shower for as long as
possible, but did you know that hot water strips away the natural oils on your
skin, thus making it prone to dehydration? When your skin is dehydrated,
wrinkles are formed easily. Try showering with cool water instead. Not only is
it a welcome way to refresh yourself after a long day at work, it also gives
your skin a firm, smooth glow.
4. Reapply sunscreen during the day
Overexposure to UV rays can cause skin to take on a leathery,
tough appearance. That’s why it’s important to reapply sunscreen, as what
you’ve applied on your face before going to work has already lost its efficacy
by the time you finish lunch. It only takes 15 minutes for the sun’s rays to
permanently damage your skin, so always be prepared. Use makeup remover wipes
to clean your face, and reapply sunscreen on face and neck. If possible, avoid
the sun from 11am to 4pm, as that’s when UV rays are strongest.
