Batman Cosplay Competition @ Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

Last Saturday Pavilion Kuala Lumpur concourse area was transformed into Gotham City with Batman, Joker, Catwomen, Harley Quinn, Robin and many others come to life. In conjunction with the Batman 75^th Anniversary celebration, there were more than 30 cosplayers took part in the Batman Cosplay Competition @ Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.

Started with a showcase whereby 30 odd cosplayers showed off their costumes and character role-play that varied from Batman himself to villains by posing for the cameras and shoppers that were simply amazed. 

Each contestant were given an opportunity to flaunt their talent and Batman knowledge with a 3 minute presentation that was carefully judge by our panel of judges, Kung Suan Ai, Director of Marketing of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur; Keith Ng, Senior Manager of Pacific Licensing Studio; and Wong Khai Hoong, Director of Cosmics Mart.

Shoppers crowded the Centre Court to watch their favourite characters brought to life and hoping their personal favourites win the competition. The contestant continued to impress the crowd and judges, in hopes of winning the prizes offered that consist on RM1,500 cash for the winner, RM800 for the second prized, RM500 cash for the third prize and seven consolation prizes that consisted of exclusive DC merchandises.

Warner Bros. Consumers Products and DC Entertainment, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur has prepared the entertainment for the whole family during the holidays. As shoppers enter the mall through the Crystal Fountain at Pavilion KL, the iconic Bat logo provides the perfect photographic opportunity.
