Taste of Italy @ Pizza Hut

I braved the rain and traffic jams to Kuala Lumpur golden triangle for the Taste of Italy @ Pizza Hut and the same time catch up with my bloggers friends. It was quite a fun filled evening especially after a long day to have a meal together with friends and chit chat about life. That evening we savored the latest excerpt of Pizza Hut’s most passionate offering, Taste of Italy, which includes an exciting menu of luscious Italian inspired dishes ranging from pizza, pasta and appetizer, incorporating signature Italian cheese, hand stretched dough and the freshest quality toppings.

Ok let’s Enjoy Italy One Bite at a Time. There are 3 new pizzas, 2 new pasta and 2 new appetizers on the menu. These are the Pizza Hut’s new items.

I like the thin flatbread pizza with quite generous of Italian cheese fragrant and flavourful in every bite. Among the 3 types of new pizza I prefer the Romano Chicken Pizza, it has the chunky chicken ham, chicken minced meat and also spinach on it apart from the regular vegetables like capsicum, tomatoes and onions.

Garlic Cream Fettuccine

Pesto Chicken Spaghetti

The garlic cream fettuccine is too creamy and the sauce too thick for my liking. However, I don’t mind another portion of the Pesto Chicken Spaghetti. The sauce is just nice not too heavy yet it gives the flavour to the spaghetti. I add a dash of chilly flakes to give some kick. 

Italiano Bruschetta

Mamma Mia Meatballs

These two new appetizer looks simple but the Italiano Bruschetta its great just to eat it on its own. I have to skip the Mamma Mia Meatballs because I don’t eat beef, but according to some of my friends its quite good and filling too.

If you are going out with your friends and family, now there are also affordable Dine in courses available at Pizza Hut. The Signature Course features 1 Pizza, 1 Pasta, and 1 Italiano Bruschetta from the Taste of Italy range as well as two glasses of Pepsi all for the price of RM32.90 (save RM15). The Unlimited Course features 2 Pizzas, 1 Pasta, 1 Mamma Mia Meatballs from the taste of Italy range along with one pitcher of Pepsi all for the price of RM 59.90 (save RM26.50).

For Take Away and Delivery, Pizza Hut offers the Big Italia Box, which includes 1 Pizza, 1 Pasta and 8 pcs of Italiano Bruschetta and 4pcs of New Orleans of New Orleans Drummettes from the Taste of Italy range as well as 2 Soups of the day for an affordable price of RM49.90 (save RM13.17). The Taste of Italy Pair Deals offers 2 regular sizes Pizzas (1 pizza from the Taste of Italy range plus 1 family favourites Traditional pizza) for the price RM34.90 (save RM11.80). The Pizza Hut Taste of Italy promotion is now available at all Pizza Hut Restaurant  for dine, delivery and take away starting from 17 April 2014.
