Review: Astalift White Skincare Series

Last month I was given a 14 days new Astalift White Skincare Series miniature set to try and review. Well, the miniature set packaging is so cute and after using it I kept all the jars and bottles. Ok, back to the topic… Astalift is the Japanese anti aging skincare brand by Fuji Film. This Astalift White Skincare Series is suitable for women in their 20s and 40s to fight age spots and dull complexion.

The Astalift White Skincare Series consist of 3 key products which is the White Lotion, White Essence Infilt and White Cream. My miniature set comes with all the 3 keys products as well as 2 additional sun protection cream which is Perfect UV Protector SPF50 PA++++ and also UV Protector SPF35 PA+++. This whitening series contains Astalift signature ingredients, Astaxanthin and 3 types of collagen to deliver the feel of firmer skin. Therefore you will find all the products in this range is orangy in color because Astaxanthin exist in salmon, crab, prawn and those seafood in orangy colors.

So this series not only helps to brighten the skin at the same time it has firming effect too. The Nana AMA technology in Astalift White Skincare Series can help to penetrate deeper, more effective and quicker into skin to target melanin. Before I use this range, my skin concerns are some pigmentation around my cheek and nose bridge areas. Plus I have dull and uneven skintone. After 14 days of diligently using the miniature set I can see that the pigmentation around my cheek is lighter and my overall skin tone is brighter.

Tips: Use the ASTALIFT White Lotion as eye mask then follow by the ASTALIFT White Essence Infilt around the eye areas; it is very soothing. This helps to brighten the eye areas at the same time prevent wrinkle.

ASTALIFT White Lotion, 150ml RM158

This is a moisturizing lotion containing skin brightening ingredient, Nano AMA and whitening active Arbutin. It has super antioxidant, Astaxanthin, to prevent age-related damage, and three types of collagen to improve skin firmness and elasticity. The seaweed extract to help to moisturize the skin, the high moisture retention for softer and smoother skin. The textures is watery, rich yet non sticky. The scent is very pleasant and soothing. There is no tingling effect or redness after I apply the lotion. It is very soothing and gentle, plus can be used as eye mask too. Usage: take an amount the size of a 50 cent coin onto palms and pat gently onto face.

ASTALIFT White Essence Infilt, 15ml RM158 / 30ml RM288

This is the key products for whitening, it’s always the essence that has power and booster. This essence contains highest concentration of Nano AMA in the ASTALIFT White series. The whitening ingredient, Vitamin C and yeast extract to boost collagen production, thus preventing melanin from sinking into dermis, which causes permanent skin pigmentation. Also contain the super antioxidant, Astaxanthin, and three types of collagen, for skin-firming benefits. The textures is thick fluid in salmon orange colour. It is non-sticky and enables quick absorption, skin feels velvety smooth. No sensation or tingling effect like some of the whitening essence that I have tried before. Usage: Pump an appropriate amount (2-3 pumps) onto palms and massage into skin for 30 seconds. This essence can be used twice a day, for morning and night.

The White Cream is in orangy colours contains brightening ingredient, Nano AMA, whitening active Arbutin and super antioxidant, Astaxanthin, and three types of collagen to improve skin firmness and elasticity. Apricot extract to increase skin cell turnover rate and boost the natural production of hyaluronic acid. The texture is light moisturizer. This White Cream provides high moisture retention by forming a thin veil of hydration, which helps to seal in whitening ingredients in the White Lotion and White Essence Infilt. Usage: take a generous pearl-sized amount onto fingertips and massage gently until it is fully absorbed into skin.

ASTALIFT Perfect UV Protector SPF50+ PA++++, 30ml RM158

Sunblock is the most important product for day time. Dp not ever skin this even we are at home or stay indoor. FUJIFILM’s proprietary Deep UV Guard Technology to protect against the most skin-damaging UVA rays. There is Light Analyzing Powder to control light absorption and reflection to achieve a brighter skin tone. And the super antioxidants, Astaxanthin and Lycopene, and three types of collagen for skin-firming benefits. The Aloe vera extract to alleviate skin inflammation caused by harmful UV rays plus hyaluronic acid to keep skin hydrated. The sun protection cream texture is light and matte it spreads effortlessly over the skin. There is a light orangy colour but it will not effect our skin tone.

All these products are recommended to be used simultaneously over 14days to achieve the results that we wanted. It helps to shield our skin from inflammatory stress caused by UV rays and environmental damage which activate melanin generation and increasing skin resistance to age spots.
