During the launch of Barbara Rihl in Malaysia and Spring Summer 2014 Handbags Collection the brand principal and designer, Barbara Rihl herself was present at the event in the Westin Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia Airports Niaga’s collaboration with Austrian-born, Paris-based designer Barbara Rihl is expected to add some vibrancy to the local travel retail scene in Malaysia, and in this region.

Her designs, which are artsy, fun and tell interesting stories are both refreshing and relevant to today’s traveller. Barbara Rihl designs Limited Edition collections, and some of her handbags even carry a special hidden message. Donned by celebrities and fashion icons such as Catherine Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, Emma Watson, Mick Jagger, and Lenny Kravitz, the handbags are well-known for their artsy and fun designs, and are expected to cater to the growing travel and leisure community in Malaysia.
