Evolu Rehydrating Facial Masque Review

Finally I get to try and blog about this Evolu Rehydrating Facial Masque Review. I first get to know about Evolu Botanical Skincare from New Zealand @ theSkintopic when Kati Kasza, the Founder of Evolu was here in Malaysia for Evolu launch in Malaysia. I love to apply mask because it’s a form of distress for me at the same time nourish my skin. I will do it more than 4 times a week, it’s like every alternate day but I use a few types of mask, sometimes hydration, anti aging, whitening and balancing.

Evolu Rehydrating Facial Masque is a super intensive moisture mask formulated for dehydrated skin that's sorely in need of revival. It contains pure bioactives to rebalance your skin's to optimum moisture levels, ensuring deeper, longer-lasting hydration.

Evolu Rehydrating Facial Masque also contains vitamins, proteins and omega-6 fatty acids from borage oil and hazelnut help to stimulate healthy circulation and cell renewal, blending with New Zealand's native kawakawa to deeply replenish and restore radiance. Bergamot essential oil fortifies against cell damage and sweet orange (citroflavanoids, Vitamin C) helps boost collagen formation and promote firmer skin tone.

The packaging is cool, just press the pump and the masque will be pumped up. The masque texture is thick and dense but not creamy, it’s easy to spread all over my face and leave a velvety feel. The masque is not oily or messy so it’s easy to use. However, it has a light hint of fishy smell. It not really that strong but its bearable. Since there is a light fishy scent I did not leave it overnight. I applied and leave for 20 minutes then wash off with water and then followed by my skincare regimen.

This masque is suitable for dry, dehydrated and sensitive skin. Although it says its super intensive moisture mask after I used it like more than a month I find it quite moisturizing but not super hydrating. This masque is good for alternate day usage to keep the skin moisture level balance. For those with normal to dry skin and sensitive at the same time prefer natural product you might want to try this mask because it does not contains harmful preservatives. 

Evolu Rehydrating Facial Masque contains no parabens, petrochemicals, mineral oils, phthalates, sulfates, artificial colours or fragrances, and no animal products other than beeswax and lanolin.

  

Usage: Cleanse and tone the face then apply the Evolu Rehydrating Facial Masqu over entire face, neck and decolletage. Either leave on overnight and cleanse in the morning, or remove with a warm wet towel after relaxation time. Tone again and follow with moisturiser.

Ingredients: Aqua, Cetearyl Wheatstraw Glycosides, Cetearyl Alcohol, Borage (Borago Officinalis) Seed Oil, Hazel (Corylus Americana) Nut Oil, Kawakawa (Macropiper Excelsium) Extract, Dehydroacetic Acid (AND) Benzyl Alcohol, Orange (Citrus Aurantium Dulcis) Oil, Bergamot (Citrus Aurantium Bergamia) Oil.
